This place is a gem for picking up Korean side dishes and main dishes. Some items can be frozen, while others last a few days in the refrigerator. Much better quality and taste (like home cooking) than what you can get at Hmart or other Korean grocery stores. Items are labeled in both English and Korean and the clean store is easy to browse. There is a wide variety of items from spicy to non-spicy, that can cater to palates both new to Korean food and those that want more traditional Korean items.

My husband and I have been ordering from Umma kitchen every week, for two months now. The food is always very fresh and delicious. We are so happy with the quality. LOVE Umma Kitchen!!!

Omg the cutest shop ever! I stopped by because I was trying to kill some time and it was fantastic! I picked up some eggs, kimbap and kin. The kimbap is out of the world!!!! I need to come back and try other food :)

I love Umma kitchen!! I found their store through social media when I first moved to LA and the different owners are all so kind and generous. Their 반찬 is the best and the same or comparable in price to H Mart or Zion market near by. I love their 수정과 and frozen soups! Please support this woman owned business~🩷

Delicious banchans and they taste like it’s homemade. I love coming here to pick up entrees for lady days. The price is bit on a higher end but lower than eating/delivery.

I drove 1hour for this banchan it’s amazing.

Best banchan store in all of Koreatown for fresh, tasty banchan of all different kinds. They also carry ready made soups and meat dishes that are convenient to cook at home. Super clean, homemade feel. Staff is super friendly and helpful as well!
