Veggie Grill

I have to say that quality of the food and staff is too good to be true. Chris - the manager - is a most compassionate and attentive human being. I return mainly because I wish to support a business trying to be the change and one that treats its staff with care.

This Veggie Grill is located on the upper floor of Ackerman in the heart of UCLA's campus. If you're driving, you'd have to find parking somewhere (probably one of UCLA's visitor parking structures). Because of this, I wouldn't really recommend coming here if you're not already on campus, as it can be a hassle to find the right parking structure, pay for parking, and then have to walk 10+ minutes.

Suzy and Marie provided excellent service! There was a slight wait because of the dinner rush + a basketball game, but Suzy made sure to announce that she will be right with me. She apologized for the wait and took my order, and she was very nice. Marie handed us the food and she was warm and pleasant as well.

Pro-tip: they offer a student discount (15% off) if you show them a school ID (doesn't have to be UCLA).

I received an inedibly dry burrito. I don't complain much when getting food but I can't even begin to explain how unacetable I find this when the burrito was 15$ and I am left unable to physically eat it. I went back and asked for salsa and they said that the burrito doesn't come with it and I would have to pay extra if I wanted any. This rubbed me the wrong way as the burrito should be able to be eaten without it and when I try to correct their mistake I am asked to pay more money to make my food edible. Do not eat here.

All of the staff at the UCLA location are awesome. Christian and Saul have that place dialed in. They always have a smile on their face and provide outstanding customer service.

Enjoyed a fulfilling lunch

Sante Fe chicken sandwich was so yummy. Crispy and flavorful. So good makes you think why you would want to eat a dead animal instead of this delicious plant based sandwich.

ok SO i really didn’t like the tempeh bacon on the burger hut that might be a personal opinion. i’m also not rly a fan of the fries eeee and the carrot cake was dry so that made me sad. but the burgers themselves and the chicken and beef are sooooo good! i also was a big fan of the truffle mac and cheese YAY

Don’t get the spicy chicken salad, but the crispy chicken sandwich is amazing

I can't believe I went to the wrong area in the food court the first time and missed this spot. Please patronize this spot it's soooo good.

I ordered a signature veggie burger. Rebeca added it as a cheeseburger (I never said cheeseburger 100% confident) and I told her what I actually ordered. She blamed it on me and didn't refund me. I had to speak with the manager and he got her to refund me. Only leaving an extra star because the manager was cool.
