A superb dining experience. In L.A. for long weekend and chose Vicini for Sunday evening dinner. Ambience was delightful with soft jazz and retro background music. Dylan, our server, was professional, knowledgeable on dishes and wines and extremely accommodating - the food was truly superb! Subtle flavors and seafood of the highest quality. Roasted Brussel sprouts were a superb side dish - best we've ever tasted! Chianti and sorbet were delightful! We plan to return with family on our next trip to L.A.

Very serene atmosphere and decor, light jazz on the sound system soft enough to permit easy conversation. Friendly and attentive service, delicious food, right-sized portions, fairly priced. Excellent value and dining experience. We'd definitely go back.

Found myself on the West side on a Sunday night and picked Vicini's because it was close. Simple and spectacular meal in a beautiful but understated setting. I had a wonderful beet appetizer special with arugula and a burrata dressing that knocked me out. The Amatriciana pasta was out if this world and very authentic. The dessert was an apricot and apple tart with an amazing crust and hard sauce topping. Only wished my wife was traveling with me because this place is definitely a date-night kind of place. Definitely plan on going back.

Very mediocre and absolutely not authentic. The primitivo red wine served chilled (I can only imagine to save money ). the carbonara which they claimed was 100% authentic tasted like it had cheddar cheese on it . More like Mac n cheese . The pasta was done well and the guanciale was good. Tiramisu desert was basically cream with some ladyfingers and a bit of coffee . Prepared in advance always but it took 30 minutes to get dessert . I won't return

The food was delicious from the beginning: burrata and beet salad, pasta, New York steak, wine, dessert and coffee. Excellent service and everything came one at a time as we requested. Can't wait to go back.

Room was comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Service prompt and efficient but also perfunctory and a bit unnerving. Food was good but not great and overpriced for the tiny portions. Also annoying was the litany of specials that were likely obscenely expensive. Wine lit looked interesting with many unusual selections and the flourless chocolate cake was great. All in all would recommend going elsewhere for $$$ Italian food.
