This is the 2nd time in 10 days that we had dinner at Vinici! We came both times with friends who were visiting from out of town. The food was amazing at both visits and so was the staff. Food - consistent and delish! The Pane with butter and Brussel Sprouts are a favorite of both visits! Service - Everyone is friendly and attentive. Ambiance - Love the music they play in the dining area!

The overall experience and the food was okay. Not bad but nothing stood out that made us want to return. We wanted to try the branzino but our server forgot we ordered it and we wanted it with our pasta so that was a bummer. The hamachi crudo was delicious as well as the rigatoni. I think the carbonara should be served with the egg yolk on top to elevate the dish even more.

The food is the star, that is when it finally came. Our three entrees came out as they were ready over the span of 20 minutes. While the sever warned us that the kitchen was backed up it still made for an uneven dining experience. Speaking of the service, our server could benefit from more training. It pays to be more attentive to your dining guests. Not certain that we will return.

Vicini has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants that we keep coming back to. You can tell the quality ingredients used to make the food. The staff is always kind and attentive! Can’t wait to go back again!

Truly the best Italian food in Los Angeles. An absolute gem! Great easy going atmosphere, the chef is extremely personable and often visits the tables, and the food is authentic and fresh. I will now take every out of town guest here! I’m so happy to have found it.

Went here for my regular anniversary with my lovely lady and let me just say this place knocked it out of the park. The ambiance and decorum is beautiful and romantic especially in the evening. Their service is great our waitress was very attentive and polite. The food was amazing we had a diavola pizza , a rigatoni salssica and bolegnese. Everything tasted great and fresh. Their pasta is said to be made in house and I can confirm that this is so ! It is without a doubt that we will return many times over. We are delighted to have found this place.

Our group of 5 had a lovely Sunday brunch at Vicini. It was the first time for all of us and I think each of us will be spreading the positive word about this lovely restaurant. I had the prosciutto benedict and it was perfect. I can't wait to return for another meal and bring my family.

Future visitors may find it helpful to know that for their coffee/espresso drinks they don't seem to stock any non-dairy alternatives.

My wife and I went to Vicini because we had a gallery opening not far away. I looked on Yelp and I have to say, I NEVER take the time to write Yelp restaurant reviews but felt compelled because the food was AMAZING!! The squash blossoms, my wife's Vongole and my Carbonara were A++ and my wife is Italian and we were in Italy this past summer!! I'm looking forward to returning, I STRONGLY encourage everyone reading this to go!!

We had the carbonara pasta for the first time. Excellent., really excellent. The Creste di Gallo pasta was pure basil heaven. The pasta shape was new to us. As usual, the Brussels sprouts were delicious as was the octopus.

This lovely restaurant has an elevated neighborhood feel to it. We were impressed by the personal attention from the owner/chef. Wait staff was very knowledgeable. All four of us enjoyed the dishes we picked. The restaurant has a lovely private party/dinner space that we took a look at. It would be perfect for a birthday gathering.

We used to take our little kids to Louis' Trattoria at the location. Our girls have grown up and so has this location. The layout is the same but the finishings are all upgraded along with the menu. The quality of the food is excellent, especially considering this reasonable price point. Vicini will be in our primary rotation of restaurants.

We just got back from a summer vacation in Northern Italy and have to say that Vicini offers an excellent variety of authentic Italian dishes with outstanding quality and taste. We absolutely recommend this Italian restaurant! We will be back!

What we loved:

- Great wine list (we were offered a sample of one of the Italian sparkling wines and ended up getting a bottle because we loved it so much: a dry sparkling wine with a slight strawberry note).
- Super delicious bread (house-made).
- Unique and excellent cicchetti (we had 3).
- Amazing pasta dishes (we had 3).
- The salmon had a nice crust on the outside while still being juicy inside. You rarely find this level of quality in a restaurant.
- You must try the desserts: fantastic tiramisu and sorbet. The peach crostata (tart) was out of this world. You can't beat this quality!
- We loved the music choices.
- Kind, attentive, and at the same time, not intrusive service.
- Easy street parking (free on Sunday nights).
