I always enjoy visiting Vino Volo when traveling. Today was a rainy day at the International terminal in LAX and I was able to spend a nice amount of time reading while I waited. Victor and Donnie were awesome and gave great recs on food & wine. I miss the truffle Mac & Cheese from years ago but their cheese board with a Cab still does the trick.
This particular location of the airport chain has a somewhat limited setup, featuring a small bar and a few high tables. The wine selection is generally good, albeit on the pricier side. The food is simple but tends to be fresh with a couple of vegetarian options. One downside, however, is their policy of not serving filtered tap water, which might be a consideration if you prefer not to buy bottled water. At a place serving liquors and food, filtered tap water seems a minimum.

Like a home made sandwich, I bet my Italian friend will confuse if their Italian sandwich came out of his own mom's kitchen. Loved it! And you should try. I'm not a fan of airport food in general, but this place showed me a
