Update for 10/7We got the combination large and it was underwhelming. The service… was less than average. Nothing was off and the waiter got us everything we asked first but he didn’t respond to anything we said which was a weird experience. Maybe he was not having the best day but as for us, we really didn’t feel welcomed.Food 5/5Service 5/5Atmosphere 4/5Cost: Fair

Highly recommend the korean sashimi combo if you're in town. The few places that still serve the thinly sliced sashimi in California!

We were disappointed by how small the portions are for the extra large sashimi plate. And the fish look quite unfresh. This pricing does not make sense!I'm a salmon aficionado and their salmon is not fresh. It's on the level of AYCE sushi buffets, not sashimi restaurants.

Be aware!! I gave one star because there is no zero. Unfresh sashimi got us food poisoning. Waitstaff were unbelievably cold and unhelpful toward us. Price for 4 was almost $220, but ended up throwing up got sick big time the next day. Recovering from food poisoning took us few days.

It's my first time to have raw fish from a Korean restaurant. The fish out of the fish tank freshly cut to brings to our table. It needs the best quality fish to cook as raw. Very delicious and different taste than Japanese sashimi.

Great place for Korean sashimi.

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside and it’s not fancy inside but the seafood and service are excellent and I highly recommend this if you want a unique Korean dining experience.

The only time I could get a reservation at this place was around 5:30-6pm. It's always crowded. It is close to my friend's house, but we never got around going here until years later. The place is small and cozy. Everything was tasty especially the handmade frugola. The wine selection was well matched to the food. We enjoyed everything ordered. Definitely will drop by again.

Located in a quiet neighborhood in Noe Valley, Wa! ssada Restaurant is a small but warm, embracing and cozy family owned Sardinian restaurant. On the menu, the first thing I read was : "Please don't use your phone, camera or computer at the table", which I ignored, as you can see from the photos I took.Regardless, not only is the food that good, but this restaurant makes us feel at home. Every single night it's open, this place is full of people from the neighborhood on dates, or families celebrating things.

Tidy 2nd generation Korean Hwe-jjip I'd highly recommend!I wasn't expecting a whole lot when I visited this restaurant. Especially after reading previous negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and value.Lot of Korean hwe-jjip restaurants give a huge volume of side dishes just to create an illusion of great value when many times most of these side dishes go untouched in to trash. My visit here was totally different. There were less number of side dishes, but me and 3 others finished every single food that was served. Fish and seafood is fresh and on point, while all side dishes were deliciously prepared.A definite must if you Love Korean food - if you've done the tofus and kbbqs - you have to try Korean seafood. It is a culinary experience.

Love the Sardinian source, spicy tomato flavor . Love the wine paring as well. The seafood dishes are my favorite, though the pasta remind me of true Italy pasta as well. Highly recommended.

Just your usual intimate neighborhood joint, serving up consistently delicious Sardinian specialties.I have had the good luck to have dined at Wa! ssada several times over the years, and it is always such a treat. This is not your average red sauce, checkered tablecloth Italian restaurant (that's a different review). But if you don't mind your protein being a little off-the-beaten-path, the folks at Wa! ssada have a deft hand with non-glamorous sea beasts and their parts (octopus, tuna heart, roe... mmm!). Don't forget your reading glasses for the wine list - the tiny print hides a lot of regional Italian gems.
