On a busy holiday weekend afternoon. We were seated amongst the beautiful people in Beverly Hills. We started w Monkey 47 Martinis and then moved into a bottle of Lopez de Heredia Tondonia 2012. The wines is perfectly aged, wildly complex and hedonisticly delicious. We enjoyed a wonderful cheese and salumi board w truffle fries. However, the Sommelier, Ilya, made our experience truly perfect. He is very knowledgeable but perfectly engaging and friendly. Another perfect experience at Wally's! Kudos!
We had the best waiter, Shorty. He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and very attentive. He made great suggestions for food and reminded us white truffles were in. They were delicious. He also suggested great wines. They were so delicious we ended buying some to bring home and share with our families. We are looking forward to returning.
Had a great time at Wally's. Food and drink was good. Service was a bit slow, but understand that it was a busy night.
Gran lugar por ambiente y originalidad de la propuesta. La comida es muy buena. Unico punto: un poco caro, eso si
Service was abysmal. We sat for about 15 minutes without anything but water at our table. We had to actively wave someone down to help us. Service was only marginally improved after that. Also, valet was not present on a busy street. I'm still not sure if valet was even open during lunch hour.
We live the place and drive from San Diego to eat there. If there is any thing I would change the hostess need to be more personable and friends they always look like they are bothered .
We had a reservation and it still took us 30 min to wait for a table. Food was very good ! But service was slow.
My experience was very intMy boyfriend and I had a very unexpected and uncomfortable experience at Wally's Beverly Hills on Thanksgiving. From the moment we arrived, the energy felt off. We were not greeted warmly, and were immediately seated at a shared table with another African American couple, despite the restaurant having plenty of open tables. As two African American guests ourselves, it was hard not to notice that every other couple (who were not Black) had their own space. We tried to overlook it and ordered food and a bottle of wine — the charcuterie was excellent, and the sommelier was wonderful. However, the seating situation only became more concerning. When I returned from the restroom, another African American guest had been seated at our table, again while many tables remained empty. The other couple even commented on how strange it was that all of the Black guests were being placed together. This continued throughout the evening. When guests of other races were seated at our table, several immediately requested to be moved — and the hostess allowed it each time. Yet all African American guests were kept at the same table, even as the rest of the restaurant stayed largely open. At one point, when the man next to us knew another group of African American guests and invited them to join him at the far end of the table, the hostess told them they could only sit if they moved closer to us to leave room at the end of the table for another party. Multiple non-Black guests who were briefly placed next to us asked to move and were instantly accommodated. It created an uncomfortable, isolating, and very noticeable pattern that I've never experienced here before. While the food and wine were great, I would hope the hosting staff becomes more aware of how their seating choices can impact guests. The way all Black guests were grouped together, while others were given free choice of seating, was disappointing and surprising — especially on a holiday meant to feel
I went for thanksgiving dinner in early afternoon. When I was seated, I was told that the chef had misunderstood the menu plan for the special Thanksgiving service. The kitchen had not prepped for the Thanksgiving menu in the afternoon and was 1.5 hours delayed. No meals were being served from the single item Thanksgiving menu. This was very disappointing. They did comp my glass of wine. I ordered a salad and the salmon plate instead. The salmon was undercooked even though I specifically ordered medium to medium well done. There was nothing accompanying the salmon filet. Although the menu is interesting, it seems more like a gastropub than a restaurant. I might go again for wine and cheese. Full meals - not so much.
The best food and service, food is always tasty and fresh, good quality! The Wine list is extensive and Jorge the Wine Director will help you choose the best pairing with your entree! Cheers!! 🍷

My hamburger was overcooked but the French fries were excellent. We had to ask three different people before we obtained some olive oil for one of our dishes. Surprisingly the wine, $35 a glass tasted like vinegar; that was after I allowed it breathe for 10 minutes. Usually the wine has been excellent, after all it is wine store. I guess if you're in your thirties and care about the vibe it's a good place but if you want great food I suggest another restaurant.
The manager was rude . The chicken was completely overcooked and instead of taking accountability she without looking said it was perfect . LOVE WALLYS SM
We had an exceptional time. Everything was great-the environment, food and amazing service. Thank you
Wally's has become a trendy go to spot in Beverly Hills. The bar and restaurant are well laid out, and wonderfully decorated with shelves of wine and spirits. The hostesses are first-rate, bartenders and wait staff all helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Wally's is known for its collection and selection of extraordinary wine at prices from affordable to elite. And never disappoints. Highly recommended
Gorgeous as ever. Best wine list in LA. And yet they keep it fun / not stuffy. Love this place. Be ready to eat at communal tables- that's part of its charm...
