Great place for pinball fun! I went on a Friday with my best friend we wrapped the night up with a perfect hotdog. We got the non-vegan option but they have a vegan option too.

Terrible service, people seemed to be over served, super rude employees felt like we were being treated differently because we weren't hipsters.

Close your eyes. Now picture an old timey soda fountain with a mad assortment of pinball machines. Now add beer! Open your eyes. You're at Walt's! Friendly and fun servers, nice selection of brews, hot pretzels, yummy hot dogs, and a nice back patio. Legend has it that Walt's is the former location of the very first Vans Off The Wall store, which is pretty epic in itself. Go. You'll enjoy. We did.

Do you like discrimination? Do you love to hate Veterans? Come to the pinball in Eagle Rock.Doesn't matter if you grew up in Eagle Rock and are a Veteran that's your place a to be disrespected. Walk in someone intoxicated drops a drink everywhere on your friends wife. Then pushes up on a female. Not cool. Then you try to order 3 Roy Roger's and 1 corona you get refused when you show your military ID and told to leave amazing ?

The Walt's bar has a pretty good selection of drafts beers unfortunately they don't have any dark beers on tap. But they do have a whole line of pinball machines that you can play. Each machine ranges from 25 to 50 cents a play. They have an outside sitting area in the back where you can enjoy the snacks that they serve. They have hot dogs, hot pretzels and they even have a an old school hot nut vending machine. The music is always changing and it's pretty lively inside. The bartender are really cool. And I think it's awesome how they pay they pay homage to the fact that it use to be one of the original Vans store. If you're lucky they might have some of their Vans X Walt's collaboration shoe in stock. If your in the area wanting to grab a beer and plays some old school pinballs for a great price. It's definitely a good place to check out

Parked a couple of blocks down the street. Dodged a couple of screaming walkers (vagrants) on the way in. Ordered a cider beer and pretzel for the Mrs. The beer was interesting, the pretzel salty. Too salty. Grungy hipster vibes, dirty floors, sticky tables and dude playing pinball with his pit bull. I love pitbulls and thought about bringing my dog there. I put that in the because it's either a plus or minus depending on if you like dogs. The change machine ran out of quarters and shorted me 50 cents. Not a big deal. They have a couple of really cool pinball machines, suprised they weren't too busy. All and all it was fun if you're into that crowd. Can totally see a younger me having a couple of beers and playing pinball there. At my age I like my food gourmet, wine over beer, clean tables and chairs. I added one star for the cool beer holder on the side of the machines. Awesome idea

Walt's is excellent. I love the hot dogs and pretzels and beer. There's nothing not to love! One of my favorite places to grab a drink with friends! Staff is friendly and the vintage pinball machines are ~fun~ and add to the vibe! There's a few seats indoors but plenty of tables in the back patio or front. Parking on the street! Usually not too bad, but you might have to check side streets.

Great natural wines and beers but my god the service is horrendous. The bartender with long hair purposefully was passing on taking my order when a guy came up to the bar (I’m female). This is the second time I went there and the second time this happened! Honestly the pinball machines are fun but the service is beyond slow and the guys who work there put off a vibe that they’re too good to be there.

Loved the veggie dog. Had a few beers and played some games. Rode my bike in. And they had bike parking. Will be back.

My glass of wine was $17 and I don't think that was correct. Should I call and ask? There wasn't a wine menu to look at so how was I supposed to know one glass of orange wine would be $17?

Walt's is a cool beer bar in the Eagle Rock neighborhood. It has dope wood paneling, and a long diner style bar top, and two patios to soak up that famous SoCal weather. They also have a nice lineup of classic pinball machines.Walt's is my favorite spot to play pinball in LA because they actually have cool old games, not just the same lineup of brand new games that everybody else clings to.
