I checked out Waypoint Kitchen + Bar recently and it was pretty good. The vibe is relaxed, and the food was tasty, especially the appetizers and cocktails. Sometimes it’s a bit busy, but overall, I liked the atmosphere. Definitely a nice spot for a chill evening with friends.
Not sure what the bad rap is about, the staff was excellent and the food was pretty great for a hotel restaurant. The only blemish may be the price is steep but it is an airport hotel restaurant, that's expected.
I had the occasion to stop in for a burger and a beer and it was outstanding. The service was quick and friendly and they did a good job of anticipating I needed the check fairly quickly. Great option and heads and tails above airport food
