Enjoyed a nice dinner with my daughter after her graduation from ucla, it's on the 17th floor of a really interestingly-shaped hotel right by the 405 freeway off Sunset, you've probably seen it a hundred times if you drive the sepulveda pass regularly. The restaurant on the top floor is amazing, views, service was great, food fantastic!

Lovely place with a magical view of foggy LA.
Especially love the breakfast option. Soo nice and simple. And included with the stay is just for extra 5$

Second time going to West and it was a good experience both times. Food was good, limited menu but overall good place to dine.

Zeka has been my server everytime I come here and is AMAZING! I’ve been coming to this hotel for several years and I get so excited each time I see him. He is attentive, friendly, and fast. We appreciate him!

Went here a few nights ago. The manager, Loraine, said they were understaffed, but the service was still quick and pleasant. Zach was an amazing server! Fantastic, friendly, and funny! Loraine was very sweet and made a point to check in on our table. We'll definitely be back next time we are in the area!

The place is not open for brunch even though it says open till 2pm . Lack of information is very disappointing

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant as we were staying at the hotel and our experience was terrible. Firstly, we were accused of not being guests at the hotel even with my boyfriend’s name in the system (with a reservation). The waiter with long hair and skinny build was very rude while taking our drink order and even ignored me and only let my boyfriend talk like I wasn’t even present until it was time to order food. We were handed the bill and the waiter pushed for a large tip. He was upset with the original tip amount and tossed the receipt on the table which caused my boyfriend’s credit card to fall under the table. The waiter was unapologetic and walked away with an attitude. When we left he was by the elevator and kept walking back and forth giving us a stank face. I understand people can have bad days, but when I’m a paying customer that treats everyone with respect I don’t appreciate the rudeness. The food would’ve been amazing without the side of attitude. I don’t recommend 0/10!!!

What an amazing discovery! The small plates were delicious, and the view was fantastic. The service was excellent; our group had some food allergies, and we were able to modify a few dishes without any issues. The ambiance was lovely and inviting. Thank you.. be back soon!

Great food, great view and amazing service from Zach, who was super friendly to my kids! I loved the coconut crab cakes and the garlic shrimps.

Kid-friendliness: They have a nice kids menu and treated my kids in a friendly way!

Food is mediocre, the decor is standard and unexciting, but I came in expecting all that. I mainly wanted to come here for the view and the ambiance. It's situated on the Santa Monica mountains right as the 405 enters into the Valley, so the sights facing LA should've been spectacular.

However, in spite of the abundance of open tables with a gorgeous view, we got stuck in a dark corner, staring at a bunch of dark apartment buildings. It was a pretty underwhelming experience. For the same price point, there are plenty of other rooftop restaurant/bars with much better views and much better food (Dante, Rooftop by JG, Rooftop at the Edition, Perch, Yamashiro, Merois, etc.).

I'd say try any of the other comparable places instead, unless you're staying at the hotel and don't want to travel far for dinner

Parking: No self parking, you MUST valet, and there's no street parking or parking lot nearby within walking distance. You can get it validated for 2 hours at the restaurant though
