Hands down the best Korean fried chicken in LA. Get the Soy Spicy and Soy Mild, the fries and the green sauce
Food: 5
Recommended dishes: Half and Half BBQ Mild \u0026 Garlic Soy Sauce, Wings, French Fries
The old lady who took my order was really rude. I think she can understand English because I saw her chatting with a white male with a big smile on her face. However, she ignored my question and spoke Korean to other people while I was talking. (I’m an Asian woman lol) I guess I have to be white or Korean to be taken seriously. I would’ve let it go if the food was good, but it was below average. Very disappointed.

We were craving Korean fried chicken and discovered Witch's Chicken hidden away inside Galleria Korean grocery store with delicious KFC. They have a cute store front and brand highlighting the location as your mom's favorite fried chicken place. It was not wrong. I noticed while we were waiting there were customers young and old, couples, friends, single people that would either dine there or get take out chicken. They focus on chicken wings, drumsticks and tenders but there are also sides like fries, potato salad or Mac and cheese. We got the wing combo which includes 5 wings, side of fries and potato salad and a soda. We also ordered two drum sticks that were huge. The food was delicious. We got original flavor for the wings and the garlic soy spicy for the drumsticks. It was spicy. All in all, a good recommendation to satisfy your Korean fried chicken crave. Note the dining area is really small as there were maybe 8 tables adjacent to the storefront in a food court type setting inside the grocery store. One major plus, parking is free and convenient in this plaza.

Ordered the soy garlic to go and have to say the crunch on the chicken held while I commuted for approx 20 mins. Liked the rice cakes that came with it to switch up the textures. Next time I would try for some more spice.

My friend recommended this place for lunch. I ordered chicken tenders (small), paid and waited 15 minutes to pick up my order. I initially thought I would have it once I get home, but the smell of the chicken was so good that I had to sit to try it. It was fresh out of the fryer, crispy outside and tender inside. I finished a piece and picked another. After two pieces I was completely full, and there were two more pieces! This small chicken tender is good for two people!! The dipping sauce was tasty…and wishes there was another one! I recommend this establishment and would definitely return for more chicken tenders.

Nice little location near the checkout on the corner of the Galleria market. Ordered the combo KBBQ tenders with a sprite and fries. Super delicious in my humble opinion.

Witch’s Chicken – A Spellbinding Name, but Where’s the Magic?
The hype around Witch’s Chicken had me expecting a cauldron of crispy, flavor-packed Korean fried chicken, but it turned out to be more of a mild enchantment than a full-blown spell. Sure, the wings were good, but for $20 for 10 wings, I wanted to be bewitched.
The flavors? Decent, but none cast a memorable spell on my taste buds. And the crunch? Let’s just say it was more “soft whisper” than “crackling thunder.” If crunch is your love language, you might leave feeling slightly ghosted. Got the half and half of med korean bbq and med soy garlic.
Now, credit where credit’s due: the pickled daikon was the unsung hero of the meal. Its tangy magic cut through the richness of the sauce like a trusty sidekick, giving the chicken some much-needed balance.
Final verdict? Witch’s Chicken is fine for a quick bite, but if you’re expecting fried chicken sorcery, this place might not enchant you.

The regular wings were very crispy and flavorful. I also liked the spicy bbq flavor. BUT it’s obvious they are using chicken that has been pumped with steroids and hormones because why so huge? Wings are supposed to be small. There was a drum almost as big as my hand. I also asked for napkins and ranch, but that was ignored. I won’t be eating here again.

Best korean chicken wings in LA. Most good korean wing places get some but not all of these right: sauce flavor, crispiness of the skin, juiciness of the meat, and CONSISTENCY as in you always get good chicken every time you come in. This place gets all four. This is my top 1 Korean chicken place.
