Ordered a rice and a noodle. Both dishes are kind of salty (soy sauce, not salt). My friend and I both had 2-3 glasses of water each. Service is fine. Seating is ok but not very comfortable.

Very disappointing. I was enticed by the cool venue and location having spotted it in passing, but as someone who has lived in Taipei and Shanghai for nearly 10 years this was far from authentic. The beef noodles were undercooked. The guabao ultra salty, dry and chewy , and the fried rice passable but bland. I’d try it again if they make changes. Service was decent and they have nice outdoor seating though.

Meal was excellent - definitely Chinese food that comforts the soul. Beef noodles and chicken wings are a MUST. Small, intimate but bright space! Friendly service.

design + branding for this restaurant is incredibly cool and the food lives up to the art direction quality !!!

beef noodles (while throwing on their spicy home made sauce) had such a perfectly charred authentic flavor to it’s richness and the chewy noodle texture brought it all together. ASMR chewing experience

the tofu + cucumber salad had this intriguing acidic balance to it and super firm small cut tofu texture that paired great with the beef noodles in between bites.

The pork belly bowl was tender, rich and tasty too !!

scallion pancakes with the dipping sauce was yummy, I’m used to a thicker pancake up in the Bay but the crispy thin acted as a chip which I loved.

Fair pricing, everything felt so intentional. Recommended !

I go here often! I grew up with these dishes and it truly reminds me of home Ratatouille style lol

Was not disappointed by the top rated reviews of Woon, and glad we made the trek over to Filipinotown for a meal here (we walked about an hour from our hotel). The menu is limited but everything we ordered was excellent, including the pork belly rice, beef noodles, five spice chicken wings and ice cream bao (with pandan coconut). Service was friendly and attentive, despite us not giving a tip when we paid cash at the counter when ordering (we tipped at the end of our meal). We're not used to the tipping culture, but this was definitely a meal we were more than happy to tip for. This was our last meal during our stay in LA and so glad it ended on such a satisfying note. Would definitely come back again if we were ever back in LA in the future.

The beef noodles are incredible - so so good!
The coconut pandan ice cream in the fried bao is delicious - highly recommend!
The rest of the items I’ve tried underwhelm me a little, but nothing is bad.
The cashier asked me to tell him when to bring the ice cream out for my friend’s birthday, but before I did the waiter asked the table who got the ice cream and if we’d like it now, which ruined the surprise. I appreciate the intention, but clearly the system they have doesn’t allow enough communication between the staff. A lot of the seating is also a little uncomfortable.

I was not disappointed! Based on a recommendation I came to this location specifically for the Beef Noodles and Pork Bao. Delicious is an understatement. The noodles are perfection and the beef is tender. It’s all very flavorful. The Bao was huge, which I was not expecting. It’s big enough to be an entree. There’s vegetarian and glutinous free options.
