Food is delicious for Thai food and much better than the other ones out there. Been frequenting this place for years and I've been ordering food here for lunch as well as for occasions and I don't mind driving the long ways. It's worth it.

Their food is good, but as other people have mentioned, Yai's seems to have a special portion size for those who order takeout. You will pay just as much as an eat-in meal, but only receive half the food. This seems very sleazy to me, and I won't be making the same mistake again. To sum up: Fairly reasonable prices to eat there, absolute scam to take home.

The food is good the people are nice. I just wish that they would be on top of the burner that keeps the soup on your table hot cause it always goes out fast then the soup gets cold and we don't get to finish the soup, who wants to eat cold soup.

Thai is my favorite food and culture but this Thai restaurant was probably the worst I've ever been to unfortunately. The cleanliness is very far from basic standards. The water cups smelled dirty and our booth was very dirty with food and wetness that we asked to be moved. No one came to take our order for 15 minutes and once our food started coming out, it was one by one. My soup first. My friends mixed vegetables 10 minutes later and our friends pannang curry which seemed like forever after, at least 10 more minutes. It was not enjoyable having to wait for everyone's food.My soup tasted fine until I bit into the chicken. It was rubbery and something seemed off. My friends enjoyed their food even though one also got chicken but it was smothered in sauce so maybe that coverd up the weird texture. We got the check and it was fairly reasonable priced so that's good but 20 minutes after we left my stomach started to hurt. I've never felt this before and as soon as I went to the restroom, I vomited so hard. It was soo strange! Was this food poisoning? I'm not sure but I should've stopped eating my soup after I knew something was up with that chicken.Sorry tmi but I was sooo close to going into the food and health organization as a career so I try to warn people or give praise where it's due and this place just has lots of flags to look out for.

Unprofessional waitress. The waitress who sat us was ok. But the one who took the order and served us just does not know how to do customer services, offensive and especially very defensive. The owner should offer training to waiters and waitresses before letting them serve the customers. In American culture, it is important to answer the question before ellaborating your answer and especially do not take the customer's questions as you are being offended. They ask you so that they can clarify the menu and get exactly the foods they want.I had been living in Thailand for years and found out that typical Thais are very defensive. That is the way the kids were raised. Most of the things become punitive. That makes them a very defensive person. The problem is that they bring this into their work without even being aware of it.This is the very reason that they don't normally answer your question directly but try to go around the bush. So they can get away with it if they answer it wrong. My experience with that particular waitress, she just could not answer a simple question if the vegetable on their menu equivalent to another name. She replied, "no one has asked that question before", instead of getting help from other servers if she does not know the answer.Training how to do customer service right might resolve this problem. The food is somewhat appealed to us.

Food was very tasty, but service was very slow. One dish came out, then half an hour passed, then the rest over the course of 15 minutes or so. Staff was friendly and prices are good, but don't go if you're in a hurry.

Service was BAD and everyone here is very rude and the place is really run down.

Came here with a big group. They were very accommodating. They were busy but still did the best they could. Food was definitely great. Pad see ew was good. Some fancy seafood curry was bomb and it didn't use coconut cream. Fried rice was good. There was plenty of parking too. Feelin like Thai? Come to Yai's!
