Food is clean
Delicious authentic Thai food! 🇹🇭🍜 The rad na was absolutely delicious—so flavorful that I didn’t even need to add any seasoning. Their pork rad na is especially famous, and I can see why! The spicy stir-fried catfish with rice was also really tasty. Everything had that authentic Thai flavor. Definitely worth trying! 😋👍
The portions on my $18 dinner pad Thai were so small, no exaggeration, the bean sprouts were half the tiny plate. Really disappointing and the rest of the food made my stomach hurt after, plus there was a tiny shrimp that was hard as a rock in there. With all the other Thai spots in that area—pass on this one

Yai’s on Vermont is a legit Thai spot that is not fancy but serves true Thai food. The food is delicious and has remained good for years, even with changes in owners and staff. Specific meals include seafood soup, dumplings, BBQ beef, shrimp pad thai, Chinese broccoli with garlic, Jungle Curry with tofu, and Thai tea. The food tastes just as good for takeout. The atmosphere is loved, with one TV showing sports or news as perfect background noise. Service can be busy, as only a few people work here, so it might take a moment, but good comes out fast. Some find the staff attentive and family friendly, while others note the service is OK but sometimes not sweet. The young lady with the short haircut has a nasty rapport and is stingy with condiments. Portion size recently changed and the price was raised. Parking is easy. The restaurant is very vegetarian friendly, and the white rice is tasty with great quality grain. Call ahead for to-go orders if in a rush.
