Yamashiro..wow..what a HUGE disappointment! I’ll get straight to the point: this is a tourist trap. This place gives off the feeling that it has relied on its location and atmosphere for so long that the food only needs to be sub par AT BEST! We ordered the crispy avocado rice, bao buns, steak noodles, and New York strip. My wife’s noodles were so bland she sent them back and got calamari only to have rubbery flavorless calamari. We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget.
