Wonderful experience from entering the double doors. Greeted with a warm smile at the door and short waiting time to be seated. Waitress came out right away, was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and market price items on the menu. Panna waters were provided with and the food was stupendously delicious with unique ingredients and flavors that you have to savor. We wanted to love it, but we were not impressed. Our food came out cold and the sandwich wasn't very flavorful at all. The corn was good but overpriced for the small amount! We were also charged 22% gratuity without any warning! I think that's odd for two people! I am a server myself and went to leave her 20 cash but we realized she had added 22% already so we took the cash back. I feel that was not necessary and made the experience even worse.

I chose Yardbird for my birthday dinner and it was perfect! The staff was cheerful and very helpful. I had a Sazarac and the shrimp and grits and felt like I was in New Orleans. They made my birthday special!
