Yeastie Boys is a popular food truck in Los Angeles known for its traditional-style bagels that remind many of New York City bagels. The reviews highlight the bagels as soft, doughy, and fresh, with a focus on quality and straightforward service. Customers appreciate that their requests, such as different bread types and light cream cheese, are accommodated, ensuring a personalized experience. The menu features standout items like the bagel lox, breakfast sandwiches—including a highly praised breakfast sandwich that some consider the best they've ever had—and specialty options like the Rubenstein bagel. The bagels are often described as having the right chew and bold, juicy meats, making each bite satisfying. While the food truck’s outdoor setting means there is no seating, customers often sit at nearby spots like Alfred’s coffee shop. The reviews mention that the food’s flavor and freshness are worth the wait, with many returning for more. Some note that the vibe at the truck could be warmer and more welcoming, but overall, Yeastie Boys offers a delicious, authentic bagel experience that stands out in LA. Its reputation is reinforced by frequent delivery orders and high praise from NYC-raised customers, making it a must-visit for bagel lovers.
