My friend and I dined here last night and to preface, this is very much a “LA” type restaurant; from the interior design to the open-kitchen concept, it is a bit untraditional but I really enjoyed it. Progressive Japanese food that focuses on simplicity and freshness showcasing technique. They highlight their eel and we got the whole one to share. It can be a bit intimidating for people not familiar and a bit simple but the effort to prepare takes a lot. For the price, I wish it came with a side of rice or something to complement it. 1. The vegetables!! OMG You might not be expecting it, but the vegetables here are so delicious and they hold their own against the fish. Expect seasonal vegetables and wonderful provisions that will blow your mind.
