Amazing experience! Everything we ordered was delicious, full of authentic Korean flavors. The staff were kind and very helpful, and they even have an English menu for easy ordering.
Prices seem high at first, but portions are huge. We went as a group of five, and with tip, it was $38 per person, great value for the quality and quantity. They charge for to-go boxes, but I understand that everything has a cost, so I donโt mind.
Delicious food, great service, and worth every penny. Definitely coming back! ๐
Country home style, unapologetically simple but unmistakable well prepared food. Even their banchan is unconventional. 2~3types of namul is always served, and chayote muchim is always served. The owner does not waste the cabage cores and makes muchim banchan, too. Bindaedduk is excellent. She make 50 boxes of kimchee e ery 3 months for the Tong (uncut) porkbelly kimchee chigae. This chigae looks very simple but it's the simplicity of good porkbelly and homemade kimchee that makes the difference!.

I almost cried with how good the food was. An amazing experience that I canโt wait to share with my girlfriend. I have eaten at many Korean restaurants all over LA, and this is the one I would choose over all the others. There are two menus, one in English and Korean.

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat at. I have decided not to dine here anymore. Their service is getting worse and worse. Waitress was trying to dictate what she want us th order vs what we want to water. Asked for broth since our kimchi pork belly stew was salty anf she refused. I end up putting water... Why would I spend my own money to receive this kind of service?!?!

I went with 3 friends and ordered 3 bottles of makgeolli, including raw pork kimchi stew, black cod stew, seafood and green onion pancakes, and we were eating them... when a staff member came and told us that we hugged each other for too long. He said I would have to wait for other customers to receive it. I was watching the owner at the counter... It wasn't like we were hugging for hours, but when the food came out and we started eating, 2 hours passed by. So the first thing I said was that I knew and I was sorry. After that, he came again and ate, but he was so concerned that he had to accommodate other customers that I left all my food before I even finished eating. The food wasn't cheap. But the food isn't all that delicious... I guess the fact that the owner doesn't come out to the counter helps the staff... After that, I'll never go back again. There is no reason to eat with my own money and pay attention to others.Absolutely not recommended!!

I'm going to eat old green onion kimchi haha.Next is the black cod forest.There is nothing like the old fish.. The taste is very good for the price. There are a lot of elderly people in the atmosphere.
