Back home in California after so long away it was great to find the always Sterling selection and quality with much less inflation sticker shock than the other food service outlets we which remain where other individual places for wholesome soup and sandwich fare have been shuttered.

Paying a visit to Los Gatos to see Ol Pegleg Pete the skipper of the Flying Squirrel, that went down on Thanksgiving day during a Nor'Easter back in 2018. He lost his leg on that one! And get this...he says it's the best thing that ever happened to him, because he got to get a real honest to goodness pegleg! I took him to Erik's DeliCafé for a quick lunch and let me tell you...it was Amazing! The sandwiches were as delicious as any I've ever had. 5 stars...
