Recently, I tried the $5.00 “chocolate” cupcake with “vanilla” icing. No chocolate flavor, just a dry, stale sponge. No “vanilla” flavor, just cloyingly sweet muck. Inedible – threw away $4.50 worth of crappy cupcake.

Vegan Cake Review
I recently ordered a vegan cake from this bakery, which requires pre-orders for vegan options. The staff was polite, patient, and attentive throughout the process. The cake’s decoration was simple yet visually pleasing.
I opted for a 6” vegan chocolate cake with vegan vanilla icing. Following their recommendation, I refrigerated the cake for 2 hours before cutting it. While this helped the icing and texture firm up nicely for clean slicing, the cake itself felt quite dense.
In terms of taste, the cake leaned heavily on the sweeter side. While sweetness levels are subjective, in my experience, this is quite common with vegan cakes in the Bay Area. If I had to rate the sweetness, it would be a 12/10 for my personal palate. Those who prefer less sugary desserts may want to keep this in mind.
It’s worth noting that orders are only taken via phone or walk-in. As walk-ins weren’t convenient for me, I placed the order over the phone and shared my card details verbally. To ensure a safer transaction, I recommend using an Apple Card or its virtual feature.
Overall, while the cake was well-made and aesthetically pleasing, I’d suggest being mindful of the sweetness level based on your preference.

The bakery is cute and set up really nicely. Little trinkets and yummy bakery items adorn the interior.
The desserts are generally good but I an’t say everything is consistently good. They’re known for the banana cake and I do like it! It has a bit too much icing but you can adjust that with your own fork! :)
Parking: Small lot behind the bakery that has a few dedicated spots. Otherwise, you just need to find street or lot parking nearby.
Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place!! Lots of sweets and the bakery smells amazing right as you step inside.

Not the same berry pie they use to have. We bought a berry pie for Thanksgiving. All of us were disappointed. It tasted like it was made with cheap berry jelly. The rest of the pie went in the garbage.

I ordered a cake and cupcakes for my wedding and everything was delicious. The banana is my favorite! Their icing really melts in your mouth. All the guests said they were the best cupcakes they ever had.
Get the iced cookies - you won't be disappointed. Moist, delicious cookies with a perfect layer of frosting.

The cake was too sweet! I am not sure if they use granulated sugar instead of powdered sugar in their frosting - but I could taste sugar crystals in the frosting. They also spelt my name wrong.

This place is always so good. They recently switched ownership and you can’t even tell because the quality and taste has stayed consistent. The baked goods are always excellent and they have a bunch fun items. Hard recommend the cupcakes
