A wonderful place - like a little piece of Italy right here in California! Outstanding wine and the whole vibe just screams - life is beautiful! Their candles are absolutely worth taking home!

Absolutely obsessed with this place and it was one of the highlights of our trips! We did horseback riding at 10am with Vino Vaqueros then straight to our wine tasting reservation at Demetria at 11:30am and it was perfect! Logan was the very best and made our experience so delightful. It is the most peaceful place with the best views, shade, and live music! Highly recommend and will be back if ever in the area again!

Trust me, the drive is worth it! I became a member on my first visit! Their Pinot is on point and, while I normally don’t like white wines, their Chardonnay is fantastic! Reservations are recommended, as they are regularly busy (understandably so)! Definitely a place I take out of town guests!

Absolutely stunning property to come wine tasting. The wines are excellent, as is the staff (thank you Logan for the hospitality). I don't tend to like Chardonnay but this one is very well balanced and low malo/low oak. The Sandra Pinot Noir is my favorite. You won't regret grabbing an appointment here on your next trip to the area!

Great wine and a superb venue, absolutely stunning. Live music was a great addition as well.

Demetria Estate & Vineyards was a gem from our weekend in the Santa Ynez Valley. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the tasting experience was just what we wanted.

The pours were generous, the wines were excellent across the lineup, and the staff was genuinely welcoming. Overall, it felt like a great value and a place that truly wants guests to enjoy the wines and have a memorable experience.

This was easily one of our favorite stops of the weekend, and a winery we’ll definitely return to.

This was our favorite winery that we went to on our Santa Barbara trip.

The service here is absolutely amazing! Logan, Nick, and Carson were great, very friendly family vibes. They went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed.

The wine was also great, we unexpectedly ended up bringing home a box of bottles. Our favorites were the Chardonnay and the Gamay.

The views of the place are also so pretty - you really get to leave the city and roads and be in the midst of nature among the sheep and vines. It was a shame it was cloudy when we went, but definitely would be great for some insta-worthy pictures if not!

What a delight being serviced by these two gentlemen Logan and Nick! They made the tasting and view even better 😘 Great wine, views and service!

I have been to Dementia Estate twice now and i plan on returning many more times. The location and venue are beautiful, the wines taste great and the service is top notch. Pro tip bring a snack to munch on with your wine. I saw people with picnic baskets full of goodies. Overall this is one of my favorites and highly recommend you give it a try.

We visited in 2023 and really enjoyed the wine, so we signed up for the wine club on the spot.

A few months later, I found out I was pregnant and contacted the winery to ask about either pausing or canceling the membership. After that, we continued to receive frequent emails encouraging us to restart or continue the membership.

In July 2024, my husband clearly emailed the winery to cancel the membership, explaining that we had just had a baby and that visiting the winery had become difficult. This cancellation email was acknowledged.

Despite this, the membership fees continued to be charged for months. We only discovered this recently and requested a full refund, as we never received or picked up any wine shipments.

We were told that a one-year commitment was required and that a full refund was not possible. However, we were never provided with a copy of such terms by email, nor is this requirement clearly stated on the winery’s website.

We are members of several other wineries, and all of them send a confirmation email before any charge is processed. This winery did not, which made it very difficult to catch the issue earlier and felt extremely unhelpful.

While the wine itself is good, the lack of clear communication and transparency around billing and cancellations was very disappointing. Unfortunately, we will not be visiting again.

my very favorite place to drink wine. I've been coming here for well over 10 years and always look forward to coming back. It is by far the most relaxing place to just be. We have been members for most of those years and love their wine.

A poor experience overall.

With an appointment required and a few minutes of driving on a private road to get into the estate, we assumed we were going to have an elevated experience. That quickly disappeared as soon as we arrived.

It was my wife and my first time at the winery. The gentleman hosting us was kind of a snob and unwelcoming. Seemed to not even care that we made a reservation so we wondered why we needed to in the first place. It didn’t seem like it was to limit customer capacity as the seating was full.

Our host never engaged with us or was interested in helping to make our experience enjoyable. We split a tasting flight because wine by the glass isn’t offered. He couldn’t be bothered to bring another glass so we could split the tasting between the two of us so we had to share a glass. The time between pours was very drawn out so we had plenty of time in between to ruminate about how bad the experience was. He looked at our table numerous times as we just sat and waited for him to come with the next pour but it seemed like he was ignoring us on purpose.

Even though my wife mentioned to him she prefers reds over whites and asked him if he could bring the red wine tastings out (partly to speed up the whole experience) he said this was the order they go in. It got to the point where I went inside and paid just so we could leave faster. We honestly didn’t want to be there any longer than we had to be, and we won’t recommend the winery to anyone.

The wine might have been good, but since the experience overall was so bad, I forgot if they were.

One star for the estate being in a beautiful location.

We started our day at a fairly if not super well
known winery (name withheld) The wine was good but the crowd and staff was stuffy, not accommodating and somewhat rude

On to our second winery …. Demetria … so
damn awesome. This place is absolutely fantastic !!! Demetria blew the other winery out of the water

The views, the staff, the wine … all top notch

Tons of locals … which is a great sign. They even let us bring in our sandwiches that Adrianna from Preferred Limo and Transport had arranged for us.

Logan was a great server/pourer and the proprietor, Lexi was fantastic.

We joined the club and will be back in person

I give this place my highest recommendation

A+++++
