Always our best experience on the CA Central Coast. We live in Orcutt, and drive to Nella every couple of months. Everything about Nella is consistently the best. On this visit, we experienced a new server - Forest. And he was so knowledgeable and entertaining. He will be the reason we come more often. Thanx Nella!

Nella is one of our go-to restaurants in Los Olivos! The service is always outstanding, and the staff speaks both English and Spanish, which is a nice touch. The outdoor patio is perfect for evening dining. My wife had the filet mignon—cooked to perfection—and I had the lamb chops, my all-time favorite. They’re always tender, flavorful, and never gamey. For dessert, we enjoyed two cappuccinos and the profiteroles. Absolutely delicious! A must-stop spot if you’re ever passing through Los Olivos.

Hostess informed us upon reservation check-in that even though we chose “standard” seating vs. “outdoor” seating that our table was still only available outside. She was not friendly and should be reminded that delivery of information goes a long way in the service industry.

Absolutly delicious! The filet cooked perfect. I don't know how they make simple potatoes so tasty?' The Baratta salad was perfect. Cocktails on point and great wine recommendation for the meal❤️

Nice place to relax and to enjoy a quiet dinner. The prices were reasonable and the truffle pinza we ordered was delicious. But the vest part was the service provided by Stephanie. She knew the menu and also mentioned items on on it. She was super nice to us and had a great sense of humor. We will definitely come back when we visit the area again.

The food is always outstanding and service is great. The inside is very noisy so we always opt for the patio. They have heaters so it is quite comfortable on cool nights. Great cocktails too!

Bread and pinsas were excellent. Had the duck legs which were a bit over sauced but the special fish was excellent. Seems they are lacking a pastry chef as dessert options didn't represent pastry types to the fullest. Would go again.

I will start by saying the food itself was delicious but the value is not there. $45 for a pinsa with a few shaved truffles is a bit much and would have thought twice about ordering - wish the price was mentioned upfront and transparent. To preface this next bit, I respect a server's job and understand that a busy place like Nella can be overwhelming. The staff looked to be working very hard but seemed rushed and there was a frenetic energy. Our server seemed fine and pleasant at the start of our service but then seemed overwhelmed as service went on, and wasn't very pleasant on our checkout. It was our wedding anniversary dinner and we were very disappointed with the lack of care. There was no acknowledgment and just felt like any other rapid fire dinner with the table needing to be turned over. Our total was $200+ for 2 people and we normally have no issue paying this much, but do expect a better experience for a celebratory dinner.
