Nella's food was delicious. The atmosphere is cozy. Tables are fairly close together, but since patrons are usually wine taster tourists or locals, people are friendly and conversations are shared between tables. There was a lot of conversation about the food. It is delicious. I heard great things about the specials, pizzas, fish and steak. Service is friendly and on point. My service was a tad slow but I was dining alone, and sometimes the server thinks you are waiting on someone. My entree was pretty late and seemed really hot (a few seconds in the microwave, perhaps?) but tasted great. A longer wine list with more wines offered from the area would be welcomed.

Great service and food. Our table enjoyed truffle pizza, cioppino, and steak frites. All were very well prepared. The cioppino even included a lobster tail - what a wonderful surprise.

Your easter brunch was a complete disappointment. We drove all the way from Santa Barbara hoping for a magical experience. We weighed many options here in Santa Barbara most of which were less expensive, had carving stations (beef/ham) and included bottomless mimosas but decided to pay more and drive over thinking this would be a more special brunch. The buffet was sad: The waffles were cold and when asked for a freshly made hot waffle, the waiter looked confused and said he would go to see if that was possible. He returned with what seemed a cold waffle taken from the buffet and warmed up. it was not fresh and not even hot enough to melt the butter. the ham/cheese crepes were cold. the foil wrapped chorizo breakfast burritos were cold The lettuce on the caesar salad was brown on the edges The fresh fruit was fresh and nice. The drip coffee tasted like it was brewed hours before and was served tepid. The bagels were cold and there was no toaster The lattes were served tepid and had to be returned to be microwaved to heat them up. the mimosas were a miserly pour. the bacon was cooked perfectly. the scrambled eggs were very good The sausage tasted like sawdust. We have eaten there several times for dinner and have been impressed but this brunch left our party disappointed and it rather spoiled our easter.

Was pretty loud. It was our anniversary. The server or host didn't ask if it was a special occasion. Otherwise, food and service was very good. Just not special or memorable.

The food and service were phenomenal. It was a beautiful spring day, so we sat outside. They gave us a quiet little table where we were the only ones on that side of the patio. It was quiet and perfect for people watching. We started our meal with the Grilled Artichokes which were delicious. The 2nd course was the Mushroom, Mozzarella, Sausage and Black Truffle Pinsa, which was off the menu. It was light with a perfectly crisp crust. The chanterelle mushrooms were amazing. 3rd course was the Bone In Ribeye Steak, also off the menu, that was large enough for 2 and cooked to perfection. We finished with the seasonal sorbet, which was delicious and the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. The service was also top-notch. Very attentive without being intrusive.

This place was recommended by two uber drivers so we checked it out. Food was great, each dish had great presentation, fresh ingredients and very balanced flavor. Recommend the basil pesto pasta and burrata salad.

The service at Nella Kitchen & Bar wàs next level. We loved our experience. Shaved truffle pizza was most amazing. The tagliatelle was quite good. The artichoke appetizer featured 5 of the smallest tastiest artichokes ever. We are poking forward to returning soon.

One of our favorite restaurants in the area to visit!! The food and drinks are always on point. We particularly love the little side room with the window to watch the kitchen working. In fact we recently visited as a special request by my nine year-old for his birthday dinner. He loves the steamed clams and watching the Pinsas coming out fresh from the oven! Ask for Abel for top notch service and don’t skip dessert, the profiteroles are fantastic!

Kid-friendliness: Our kids love trying new foods and Nella offers a wonderful selection of fabulous food for them to sample. Plus they love the mocktails on the cocktail menu.

Recommended by somebody in solvang, we were delighted to find this fancy spot tucked away in Los Olivos. We are suckers for bolognese and the pics looked great. Needless to say it blew our expectations away. We’ve eaten at some of the “top” Italians spots in LA and this killed them. The service was top quality and atmosphere and lighting was elegant but not stuffy. The consistency and flavor of the bolognese transported us to Tuscany. The Tagliatelle, unusually squiggly, were cooked to perfection. Add a great local red wine, some fresh baked bread and Normandy butter and you have yourself a great evening.

We had a fantastic dinner at Nella in Los Olivos! The cocktails were expertly crafted and absolutely delicious. The flatbread pizzas and pastas were equally impressive (the bolognese was our favorite dish). The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a great meal. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
