Amazing food and service. We went with a large party and they were very accommodating.

Two different locals who work at fine establishments in Los Alamos recommended this spot for their "pinsas" (not knowing what that was). We went there and sat by the fireplace ordering exactly that! Wine and Pinsa on our evening date was lovely. We were so glad it was recommended!

Wonderful atmosphere. Expected better food for the price. One order of lamb which was very good but had a special pizza w sausage and chanterelles which lacked flavor. Great crust, no spice or sauce. Received on request but paid extra for both. Underwhelmed by the Flatbread Considering it was over $30..Otherwise a nice eve on the patio .

We came here to celebrate a birthday. It was very busy loud on a Saturday night. We were seatly promptly based on our rsvp time. Once seated, our server took about 25 minutes before coming back to take our order. We ordered several dishes but only the truffle pizza was good and the rest (even the specials) were just average. No acknowledgement of the bday even though we mentioned it 2x. We literally had to ask for a candle on the desserts we ordered. Truly subpar to their sister restaurant SY kitchen.

A very nice restaurant. Food is awesome. Great difficulty deciding what to order, everything looked so tempting. The service is great.

Average at best. The bar scene is fun and the drinks and service are good but we were disappointed with the food. I understand wanting to have authentic Italian food but today you need to have gluten free options. Especially in California. It would be nice to have gluten free crust pizza or pasta. The bolognese was bland and the dessert options sucked. There are better options in town.

Horrible service. The woman working the front with short, blonde hair was extremely rude and looked down upon us when asked questions. We were shocked. The food was salty and below average for taste. Very disappointing. We were sad because we LOVE SY. We won't be returning. I would not waste your time or money here.

Kelsey is great. She had great recommendations for both wine and food. The pork chop was certainly the best I've had. The "Pinsas" bread is really out of this world. Overall a great experience. I'd definitely return.

We went there for lunch. The food was good, but not amazing. Especially since a lunch for 2, with no wine or alcohol, cost over $80. Very expensive here. I will not be going back.

The meatballs were really good. We got mostly apps but it's a nice restaurant with a good ambience

We took another couple to Nella and enjoyed lunch on the patio. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Pisa (their version of Pizza) was exceptional. We had a variety of foods, couple of appetizers and entrees. Fun to share the flavors. We will return.

The food was great! We shared a Pinsa for an appetizer. Great tasting and a yummy crust. Each of the four people at our table chose a different entree and they were all delicious. I had the cioppino. The seafood and fish in it were tender and the broth was really good. My knocks on this restaurant were two-fold. First, the noise level at prime time on Saturday night was the loudest dinner environment I have ever been in. It was difficult to even have a conversation among the four of us. Second, it's really pricey. Dinner for four with wines by the glass plus tip was just under $500. We were celebrating a special event, but otherwise this would be beyond our customary price range. Service was good but the place was crushed so there was no extra time for our server to talk. She just had time to take our orders and then was running from table to table the rest of the time. Not her fault but not ideal for an expensive dinner out. All in all, great food and would go back but would only dine outside in order to avoid the noise level inside.

Sadly, Nella blew a potential five-star rating for its fine food and reasonable service by its arrogant refusal to accommodate a simple customer request. On arriving, we observed three available tables in a quiet area of the patio and requested one, only to be rudely told by a server "That section is closed". Asking why, we got only a jaw drop and an "I don't know". A manager type subsequently advised it's "Because they don't have enough servers". (Apparently the existing servers could not walk another 15 feet.) So we reluctantly took a table they deemed appropriate, next to an annoying noisy group. Apparently alerted to our annoyance, another manager type came and produced a creative lie that the cause was a sprinkler problem - interesting on this bright sunny day with no water apparent. Did we look that stupid? He continued his insult with a jeremiad about how difficult it is to manage a restaurant. (Like that's our problem, not his.) Open Table could also use some customer service improvement. Unfortunately Nella didn't advise in advance its reservations are made through this poorly structured portal. Using its link to invite guests resulted in them getting a request to enter an access code. What super geek came up with this dumb idea? I'll remember to call restaurants directly for future reservations.

We unfortunately ate a big lunch before coming and I wish we had more room in our stomaches because the food was outstanding. The salads were huge, bright and so flavorful. The mortadella flatbread is worth coming back for. Overall an excellent experience.
