Full Meal Deal: Driving back from Clear Lake, I was starving. There isn't much out this way once you leave the lake. So I searched some for a possible "taco truck," and found this gem.
Location. Its located in a small lot with nothing around but small town feel and quiet. There are a few picnic tables nearby which made for a nice spot to observe, drink a Mexican Coke, and eat some tacos. I didn't see a sole. For me, that was ideal driving down the 16. There is plenty of free parking to be had.
Service. The proprietress was kind, helpful, and fast. The truck appeared clean, and was powered by a truck in front. The trailer appears to be there regularly. But it is a trailer. Nothing sexy here, except the food.
Food. I've eaten at 100s of taco truck across California, Arizona, Oregon, and Idaho, and this was a good one. It's mostly tacos, but I recall Tortas as well. There may have been Quesadillas. I like the focus really. I took an Asada, Pastor, and actually an Barria. EACH was excellent. I like Pastor, but not love. This was GOOD Pastor. I wolfed down each quickly, and almost went back for more. Typically street taco flavors/styles with fresh onions and cilantro. Various salsas are provided. I used the green sauce, which had a good kick. The flavors were deep and savory. Really, it was excellent.
Bottom-line. Would I go back? Absolutely, I hope to do just that. But I'm not out that way often, so maybe not. If you find yourself on the 16, hit it. You won't go wrong.

Best taco truck/ mexican food in Lake county. One of my favorites Coming from the Bay Area its hard to find authentic flavor. Love how they let you get your own salsa and peppers. This place is a hidden gem.

So I've been past las cazuelas quite a few times. It seems like they are always busy but this time not so much so I pulled in off the highway to get some lunch. I will say the food quality is good. The burrito that I had was very large and very tasty. The homemade avocado salsa and red salsa was very good. I also got the tacos adobada which you don't always see around here and they were very tasty as well. I give them. Kudos for using the small flower tortillas rather than the typical corn Tortillas I see around here. The marinated pork for the tacos had good flavor in spice but not overwhelming... Now since this is a taco truck. I would consider it fast food but the quality is much better. The service was good and for being outside they did provide places to set and wait... My only real complaints is prices for 2 tacos an a burrito. It was like $24.00 I don't usually mind paying a little more for good quality food but it did seem like much. I do recommend them and I would say compared to other Mexican food trucks in Lake county they are on the top tier.

There's nothing better than a taco with a tortilla handmade right in front of you some of the best tortillas I've ever had this is definitely the best Mexican food as of 2023 in Lake County it's a little bit on the higher end as far as price but the portions are really big I usually get four tacos whenever I stop at a taco truck two tacos from this place will easily have you feeling full I highly recommend this taco truck and the langua taco ? it's amazing and they have quit a few salsas on site they are all delicious ?
