“I’ve been to every single state in the United States and I can clearly say this place has the best Colombian food I’ve ever had. The portions are HUGE! with un bandeja paisa and an order or empanadas we were so full and still took half the bandeja to go. Ive been a truck driver for 4 years now. I have eaten Colombian food in more states than what I can count on my fingers. By far this has been the best food we’ve had. My Colombian husband has made it so clear it truly feels as if he was back home. May God keep blessing this business.“

“La verdad es un muy buen lugar fuimos anoche a cenar con mi familia muy emocionados nos trajeron rápido la comida excelente atención pero en el sancocho me salió un cabello cuando mordí la mazorca estaba ahí enrredado eso me daño todo me dio mucho 🤮 asco el cabello era entre negro y rojizo cuando vi una chica que salió de la cocina con ese tipo de cabello suelto 🤮recomendación debería tener una regla el manager todos los cabellos del personal recogido y más si están en la cocina o entran donde están los alimentos. Deberás ojalá a otra persona no le vaya a pasar eso es demasiado desagradable ya que me dañaron mi cena y con tanta hambre que iba y emoción se me quitó todo. Solo me quedo el asco y hasta ahora no lo supero“

“Got a Perico , cheese arepa and a Taqueno.

Perico was nice, the sauce really carries the arepa. Without the sauce everything lacks flavor but has a good texture. Cheese Arepa is nice if you dip it in sauce but otherwise is a basic item that doesn't stand out. The same goes for the Taqueno, its not a bad item but it doesn't really stand out in any way. Cheese pull isn't good and in the end it reminds me of the pillberry rolled dough with some cheese in the center.

Atmosphere-wise doesn't really stand out. the Red and white color scheming is fine but doesn't stand out at all and the lack of AC means its a bit too hot for me to enjoy given the currently hot weather for the area.

All in all for the price, its a decent place to get a quick light lunch. Outside of that I find it a bit hard to recommend. The size of the Arepas is fairly small so keep in mind you may need 2 to feel decently sated appetite-wise.“

“This Colombian hideaway in K town really surprised me. The location is actually empty and there is a parking and the tables are set up next door in the parking lot under a tent with a big projector and music. The food took a little long but in their defense the fried snapper was an entire fish and i was not expecting such a beauty. (it did have the bones so highly recommend you are prepared and know how to eat it) my buddy got the steak with egg and beans , the green plantain on the sides for us were amazing. Overall we both loved the food very much. the energy of the location felt authentic and the servers were mostly speaking Spanish which i always know means the food is good. If you are in that area go check it out! just don’t be in a rush .“
