“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Melody’s Place – A Quirky Gem in Lytle Creek

We stopped at Melody’s Place on a whim while passing through Lytle Creek, and it ended up being one of the sweetest surprises of our trip. This quirky little restaurant and bar, attached to the Scotland Store, has such a fun local vibe — it’s clearly a beloved gathering spot for the community.

Our bartender, Rae, was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel instantly welcome and mixed a great margarita. The gentleman from the store even gifted me a postcard, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The walls are packed with historic photos that give the place character, and the small gift shop adds to the charm. Melody’s Place is the kind of spot that makes you want to linger, chat with the locals, and soak up a bit of real Lytle Creek history.

“These are the best burgers ever! Real beef, thick, juicy patties..and NO skimping . you get great portion sizes. Fries are yummy and if you go between 2 to 5pm, you get 1/2 price shakes! I would have included a pic but, I scarffed that burger down so fast...there was nothing left to photo..lol...oh well, next time...”

“El Rincon Pizza Always Gets It Right.. Been going here for a year now and I’ve Never had a bad experience. The pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks are incredible. The dough is a perfect blend, not too heavy and the sauce is very well seasoned. They even have ice cream. The atmosphere is very nice they have tv’s for viewing and it’s spaced out well for intimate dining and big parties. If you’re apart of a blended family or a positive coparenting divorcee’ like myself, this is a great spot for a weekly family meal. 🤣🫶🏾 The staff here are very kind and welcoming and so accommodating to my autistic son(he prefers dining in here).

It’s definitely popular, because a few months ago, I was at the local smoke shop in the same shopping complex about to head over and get a pizza and I overheard someone crying about how they ran out of dough. That’s how great the pizza is😆🥳..

The price is comparable to any other fast food meal in the vicinity. If you're like me, and have sat there in the drivethru waiting for an inferior meal while looking at this fine establishment wondering what it was about... do yourself a favor and go try this place! I wish I would've took some pics but I was just having a great time with my family, we had spice beef noodle soup, shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mein, steamed pork dumplings, steam pork buns and sauted green beans. “In to visit family and had to do a Taco Tuesday 🌮 We got 2 carnitas soft tacos & 2 al pastor soft tacos. Delicious. But the real star was the fried hard shell tacos with shredded beef. First time having that and seriously enjoyed them. Would highly recommend this restaurant and the tacos. While waiting for the food the servers brought out dishes that were drool worthy. The ceviche looked soo good and was in a huge goblet. Would love to go back and get that.”
