“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Melody’s Place – A Quirky Gem in Lytle Creek

We stopped at Melody’s Place on a whim while passing through Lytle Creek, and it ended up being one of the sweetest surprises of our trip. This quirky little restaurant and bar, attached to the Scotland Store, has such a fun local vibe — it’s clearly a beloved gathering spot for the community.

Our bartender, Rae, was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel instantly welcome and mixed a great margarita. The gentleman from the store even gifted me a postcard, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The walls are packed with historic photos that give the place character, and the small gift shop adds to the charm. Melody’s Place is the kind of spot that makes you want to linger, chat with the locals, and soak up a bit of real Lytle Creek history.

“I often come to Crumbl - Sierra Lakes to takeout some of their delicious cookies. This is a small but nicely decorated dessert shop in Fontana. The moment you get into the shop, you’ll experience a sweet and pleasant smell that will make you hungry. The inside of this shop is very clean. You can see the entire cookie-making process in front of the kiosk.

I am a huge fan of Crumbl cookies. I like their Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies a lot and I often buy them. I also love their Caramel Toffee Butter Cake. Last week, I was able to try their Dubai Chocolate Brownie after a few failed attempts. The brownie was literally so delicious and undoubtedly one of the best Dubai Chocolate products I’ve tried so far. Unfortunately, the brownie was available only for a week (August 17 - 23). I wish they could continue Dubai Chocolate Brownie for a while!

Crumbl is home to one of the best desserts and cookies in town. Their weekly rotating menu features delicious gourmet cookies and desserts at a bit higher price but the taste is worth it without any doubts. The cookies are always warm, fresh and soft. Their fast service and friendly staff are also very satisfactory.”

“It’s basically a kitchen run by a lady with minimal equipments . There is no sign board outside of property. Most important thing she doesn’t have all things all the time so better be call first before you go over there , she doesn’t have extra things prepared ahead for order. She make fresh roti . So the conclusion is that-

“This was our first time ever coming to this establishment, but my family and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food!! Mina helped guide us through on what they served and gave us some really great recommendations, she was very polite!! This place has different varieties of pizza to choose from and you could also customize the pizza to your liking (also includes veggie and halal options). As for wings, they also had many flavors to pick from, all ranging in spice and savory flavors! If you like the taste of homemade pizza and having various options to choose from, I would definitely recommend this spot!! I will 100% come back for more! :)”

“My coworker brought me here for our lunch break. I love the warm welcome I received from entering the restaurant. The woman at the register was incredibly kind and informative regarding the menu. And the portions! OMG, I had a mini meal and let's just say, I'm saving the rest for dinner! Tonight! I ordered a Spam Masubi and Chicken Katsu! I love this place, such an amazing find!”

“We recently catered from Habibi Kebab this past weekend and had a great experience from start to finish. The food was very good--fresh, flavorful, and a hit with everyone at our event.

“This is a gem, my 2nd time around and just as the first the service was on point the food was fresh and very delicious. I wish I would've took some pics but I was just having a great time with my family, we had spice beef noodle soup, shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mein, steamed pork dumplings, steam pork buns and sauted green beans. “I live in Nebraska and visit southern California once or twice a year. I always make it a point to stop in for a Carnelian and a Mediterranean with chicken. They have the best crust I have ever had and the toppings are superb. I love that they use red onions rather than white or yellow. I highly recommend them as both a foodie and a chef. I've had some good pizza, but I have yet to find such an amazing crust anywhere else. It's yeasty and well structured. I could swear they are utilizing an old dough proofing method by the taste and chewiness of the crust. The owner is awesome and I always have a great experience.”

My friend and I started with their Café de la Olla, and OMG… it was absolutely amazing rich, aromatic, and hands down the best I’ve ever had! I loved it so much I ended up having two cups.

For food, we shared the Sopes Trio (chicken, beef, and pork) and the Fajitas Trio (shrimp, beef, and chicken), which came with beans, rice, guacamole, and salad everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked.

We also ordered fresh guacamole, and Ramiro made it right in front of us he was amazing! So friendly and full of positive energy, he made the experience even better.

Estephanie took care of us throughout our meal, always making sure we had everything we needed. Super sweet, attentive, and always smiling outstanding service all around!

The restaurant is beautiful with great Latin music, three TVs (I even caught a soccer game while eating ⚽️), and spotless bathrooms, which I always appreciate.

Highly recommend this place! Whether you’re coming after a hike or just craving authentic, delicious Mexican food, El Mescalito is a must-try!”

“Originally, I went there to try out their abondiga ‘s Mexican soup. But they hadn’t formed me when I sat down that they had ran out. Apparently it’s very good and very popular so I chose to get the beef taquito appetizer plate, which was very good. It comes with guacamole. Handmade and sour cream arrived at My table in a timely manner. The facility is very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have chips and salsa while you eat. Definitely want to go back and try their Mexican meatball soup but apparently you really need to get there early.🤓👍😋”
