You can just taste the difference. The staff is really sweet and there's always a neat selection of gifts and things to look at.”

“In a time when pricing has gone up in all of the fast-food chain's customer service becomes more important in retaining your business. I was waited on by Alonso, and I was very impressed with his customer service. He greets everyone like they are friends and provides superior customer service from the minute you enter the restaurant. I was so impressed with him I asked if he was the manager or owner. He replied no he was just an employee. He treats every customer like he owns the business and wants everyone to have a great meal and return. The food is typical Carls good and prepared the way it should be, but I will be returning because of the great service I received from Alonso.”

Was having a tough time making the selections for the order and Ana and Priscilla were extremely patient and helpful. They made excellent recommendations and were friendly in the process. In a time where customer service has (typically) become low priority, It was definitely refreshing to experience great customer service! We'll definitely be coming back here in the near future. Is very friendly and courteous she usually waits on me and my family when we come in together but on top of everything around her she is a very good server. Thank you Ninfa.”

“A Hidden Gem That Feels Like the French Quarter Itself! From the moment we stepped into The Quarter in Claremont, it was like being whisked straight to New Orleans. The atmosphere was electric — the scent of Creole spices in the air, the soft hum of conversation mingled with jazz playing in the background, and the decor that looked plucked right out of the French Quarter. I half-expected to walk outside and find a brass band on the corner! We started with the soft-shelled crab and grits, perfectly crisp and full of Southern comfort. The fried catfish topped with crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and absolutely indulgent — pure Louisiana soul on a plate. The roasted catfish with lump crab was delicate yet decadent, each bite melting in your mouth. Even the bread and butter were unforgettable — the sweet Creole butter was so good we could’ve made a meal out of it alone. Our bourbon cocktails were spot-on — smooth, balanced, and crafted with care — and we finished with the bread pudding drizzled in warm bourbon sauce, which was heavenly. Every dish was layered with flavor and heart. A special shoutout to José, our server, who was not only attentive and friendly but truly made us feel like family. His recommendations were perfect! We live three and a half hours away, but honestly, I’d make the drive again just for a date night here. It’s that good. The Quarter doesn’t just serve food — it serves an experience.”

“I usually come to this location but last Sunday I went to one near my son’s church and oh my gosh I regretted it right away from the service, atmosphere, kitchen, quality of food and all. I actually took a few bites and threw my bowl and taco away. Was not good at all. I thought all were the same but I was wrong! I wasn’t even greeted. They’re always positive and great here. If you haven’t I encourage you to come here and try them out for great food and atmosphere”

“One of the best quick serve kebab places in the region!! Had chicken kebab with beef kobedeh. Very fresh, perfectly cooked and flavored well. The salad was 100% fresh and crisp and the dressing was tasty. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Interior is clean and well lit. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of customers but not too busy since it is well run. Easy ADA access. Indoor seating area with table service. Canned sodas. AC working great on a hot day. Very happy with our experience. About $72 for two entries abd 2 cans of soda, including tip. They have cheaper lunch specials but we got dinner size, plenty, we had leftovers. The basmati saffron rice was a bit mushy for my taste, but was flavorful. The sumac was fresh and tangy.”
