Had a fantastic dining experience ! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming & attentive. The food was flavorful and well presented. Atmosphere was clean & inviting . Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to hangout and enjoy a delicious meal + drinks ! Definitely will be returning :)
Had a great time in La Nena cantina with wife and kids after we came back from the beach. Ordered different tacos and fajita plate with margaritas, food and drinks are very well prepared. Great atmosphere, and amazing staff!!

La Nena Cantina is a nice addition to Malibu's food scene and a great option for anyone who loves Mexican food. The restaurant offers everything from tacos and guacamole to ceviche and fresh salsa, and does it all well. The standout is the molcajete, featuring grilled chicken, grilled skirt steak, cilantro chorizo, avocado, tomatillo molcajete salsa, cactus, white rice, black beans, panela cheese, chile toreado, and handmade corn and flour tortillas, served in a traditional volcanic stone bowl. Other favorites include the Birria taco, chicken enchilada, and table side prepped guacamole. The mezcal marg is top notch, plus a bunch of other cocktail options. The service is great, and the staff is welcoming, attentive, and kind. The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and such a vibe, from the decor to the music, with an aesthetic of peak California casual. La Nena is very family-friendly, and the menu offers something for everyone. It is a local spot worth supporting.
