I had brunch at Marmalade Café in Malibu and really enjoyed it. I ordered the three scrambled eggs with potatoes and sourdough bread — everything was fresh and satisfying. But the highlight of the meal was definitely the dark chocolate macadamia pancakes — absolutely delicious and a must-try! Great spot for a relaxed brunch in Malibu.

We arrived right about noon on Sunday and there was no wait. Great hostess, great server, and great food. I had the corned beef hash with 3 poached eggs, homemade hash browns with peppers and onion, and sourdough bread. It was perfect and one of the best corned beef hash and eggs I have had. I was recommended to go their and it did not disappoint. My wife and daughters loved their food also (cheeseburger and fries and cheese toasty with tomato bisque soup).

Marmalade Cafe was great! Great atmosphere and great service! The food was delicious. I don't drink coffee but my husband does and he said the coffee was fantastic. The food was delicious too!

I ordered a soup and salad with the tomato bisque and a Caesar salad was offered chicken as an ad for $4. Then asked if the chicken needed to be blackened. I said yes, food came. The tomato bisque was terrible, and the Caesar salad was not thought through and the bill ended up being over $6,
almost $7 for the blackened chicken. I saw the food under the heat lamp for more than 10 minutes, waiting for somebody to pick it up, and our waitress was very slow. Never refilled of our beverages. And we had to beg for a check, very poor experience

The only thing is good about this place is the atmosphere. The service sucks. You get the races vibes which I’m kinda used to in Malibu, especially as a person of color, even though they pretend to be so liberal, which is the worst .If you are a person of color, I just left this place and when I said I had to ask for steam almond milk three times from three different people and watch them. Look me in a face and say it will be right on it. Absolutely ridiculous. I would avoid this place if I were you a person of color now you’re Caucasian you’re gonna fit right in but again the food it’s not worth it. The atmosphere is the only good thing about this place other places in Malibu good food, great service and no races as vibes.

I never thought I could have a beef pot roast this good, but here I am still thinking about it. The beef was tender and savory, and the vegetables were well cooked. The best part was the small onions that just melt in your mouth. My boyfriend and I stopped by during a visit to Malibu and tried the beef pot roast and chicken pot pie. Both dishes were amazing, but the roast is out of this world good. Service was ok.

Lmao i went here on a sunday morning, its a cool spot. Been coming here once in a blue moon for ages. The Burgers and fries are good. But i asked for ketchup for my eggs benedict plate one morning because the woman server didnt put it on the table,( im with an older gent and a friend) and this below average server gal with dark hair and leggings (with absolutely no hips or shape) (and please dont ever wear leggings again!) gave me an attitude and said, “ IS there ANYTHING else i can do for you?!?!” In the most heinous tone. I had the best comeback for her but i was accompanied with an older man and malibu resident since the 70’s and didn't want to make a scene. Your lucky little lady! But I Would def go back just to see her again tho. Ha!
