I was really stoked to have found such a classic, while my way up the coastline. This place has the feel for the kind of mental imagery, or thought bubble, that comes to mind when you think of the phrase," local seafood restaurant," and the food definitely didn't disappoint us either. The entree portions leaned more toward large and the servings were generous in all areas of the menu, we felt like overall, it was a good value for the money and favoured the taste saved on the roof of a seasoned pallet, as well as, the satisfaction of the wide eyed stomach to the pockets of the people profiting behind the brand.

Excellent fish and seafood quality, variety and preparations. The sides are excellent. I have never eaten indoors there, referring the back porch and the fresh air…I mean it’s across the street from the Pacific Ocean! No view but none needed. The parking is accessible and plentiful. It’s my favorite place for fish.

I love the food. Love the service. Love the atmosphere. It's a bit of a schlep for us but always worth a drive. Today it was the fish and chips and shrimp appetizer both on point, not greasy but crispy and delicious.
Location, food quality, availability of decent brews, and casual vibes keep me coming back. Thanks for everything.

Unfortunately, doesn't live up to the hype. The highlight was the fish in the fish and chips plate with tartar sauce.Fries were bad. Cajun rice was dry. Homestyle potatoes decent. The best side was the mashed potatoes. The grilled mahi mahi was rubbery.I'm happy to have tried the Reel Inn, but won't be back and cannot recommend.
