100% unique access to (and views of) canyon waters ocean-bound. I also recall the story of who may have been the original owners. I enjoy local history.Wine: Overpriced flights of "aged" (aka dirty) pours. I did find one that I ended up purchasing, maybe $80-some for the bottle. Not that I couldn't have found a better wine for a lower price elsewhere... I felt like supporting the original Rosenthal.Ambience: I went in on a weekday afternoon. TVs had daytime TV playing. Cleaning supplies were in full view. No real courtesy. 2 out of 10.Hours of operation: Limited. Why would I go to this place? The wine was overpriced and not very good, The service was poor. Location was good. What else??

One of the finest places on this great planet!! If only the band Sancho La from Topanga, with the psychedelic pinata, would play live music here THEN you would have heaven on earth!!????

Thank You Molly and Greg for the great wine and great conversation. I felt like I was talking to old friends and the wine was delicious we had the mixed flight and took 2 bottles to go!

while the wine was petty good and the location was great. I got two flights one for me and one for my wife. the two things I didn't like which I've not had at other good wine bars is that, one I had to come back and get my next glass of wine for the flight. most places I've been they come and check. which is why I tip them. two after each new wine they poured in the previous glass. not giving me a new one with the new wine. that was odd. I got a mixed flight. so when my next red came due I specifically had to askfor a new glass, which bugged me.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. They prepared a cheese spread for us and a selection of wines that paired really well with the food. All wines were high quality, great flavor and body. They also let us play our own music which added to the personalized experience. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend for small groups and celebrations.

The vibes here were immaculate. The staff was friendly, the food truck was tasty, and the wine kept coming. Live entertainment and a great way to spend the day getting wine wasted! We came to celebrate my besties birthday. Reservations were easy and online. We brought our own snacks, charcuterie board, and still ordered tacos and fries knowing we were going to continue celebrating and have dinner later at the Airbnb. We checked out several establishments in the area and Rosenthal came highly recommended. So glad we came here! This is a great spot for gatherings, parties, or solely for the love of wine.

Super cool spot on PCH. No direct view of the beach/ocean but the huge back patio has a nice view of the Santa Monica mountains.

Cute venue. Too many vapid wannabes. Would be great if the actually had better food options.

It's really nice that they let you try the wine before you purchase a glass or bottle. I came with a big group of friends after Malibu Wine Hikes and Rosenthal was on the way to our dinner location. What I didn't like was the actual wine selection - there were no dessert wines, no sweet wines, and nothing fruity. Instead, the fruitiest they recommended was very tannic and acidic. We got a bottle to share and it was just OK. They also didn't have any food available other than charcuterie boards, but you could order from the Thai restaurant next door. It's a chill spot, right next to the beach. Great location, but there aren't any ocean views from the outdoor seating. The servers are plenty friendly. They have restrooms via a portable restroom trailer - which was surprisingly clean. Pricing is a bit on the high end - expect to pay about $20 on a small drink. No reservations are needed, they have live music on the weekends.
