The Unruh civil rights act is real, funny thing my friend who is white not brown like me did get a spoon just last week without having to buy anything!
Amazing!
I walked into the Starbucks and asked for a plastic spoon. The barista, who was wearing glasses, informed me that I would need to be a customer to receive a spoon. Although I believe the barista may not remember me as a regular customer, I decided to leave the store quickly and discreetly. There was no escalation of the situation. Does this experience discourage people from visiting Starbucks? Yes & I will definitely tell others to avoid this particular Starbucks location.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely disappointing experience

The manager Bianca at the Starbucks located at 3990-A Cross Creek Rd, Malibu is very rude and unprofessional. She doesn’t take care of regular customers and treats people with a dismissive attitude. This used to be one of my favorite Starbucks locations, but her behavior makes every visit unpleasant. Management should really look into how she treats customers — especially the loyal ones who came often
ZERO star, if I could have rated Bianca
Unfortunately, no option for Zero star.
I would start rating one star

There’s something about Malibu mornings that just hit different, and grabbing my caramel macchiato at this Starbucks felt like the perfect way to start the day. The staff here deserves real credit — super friendly, quick with the orders, and even on a busy morning rush they kept the vibe calm and easy. Service alone is a 5.

The coffee? Exactly what I wanted. Hot, strong, and balanced with that caramel sweetness I come back for every time. I’ve been to plenty of Starbucks all over California, but this one keeps a special spot on my list whenever I’m in Malibu.

The interior is clean and modern with plenty of seating inside, and the outside patio is a nice bonus if you want to sit under the umbrellas and breathe in the ocean air just a few minutes away. The only thing that threw me off — there’s no restroom inside. Honestly, I didn’t expect that in a Malibu Starbucks. Not a dealbreaker, but surprising for sure.

Still, it’s all about the coffee and the service, and they nailed both. For me, this place is locked at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Pro tip: grab your drink here before heading down to the beach or cruising the PCH — it sets the tone just right.

AVOID this location at all costs. They are so inconsistent and incompetent and then have the audacity to give excuses and explain to you how the tickets print despite my watching my ticket be printed, half my order be ready and the other half just sit 10mins while the girl remakes the same drink three times. Outrageous. Oh, and yesterday they got my order wrong - apparently asking for an iced caramel macchiato is just too much for them to handle.

Reliable coffee and food. Our online order took more than 20 min and the barrista was surprisingly inflexible with a mischecked box.

I was so looking forward to my Lavender matcha...but the drink was the wrong! 😪 It's more of a Lavender latte. Is it bc I changed the milk?
I hope the grilled cheese sandwhich will be good..I'll come back & report.

I wonder if everyone's names on the cups are wrong??? Instead of Toma, they wrote Doma )))) It's funny because Doma in my native language means house ))) It's inconvenient that there is no toilet inside Starbucks, you have to go to the plaza.

In Greece, a 2m×3m cafe, in any town or village you open it, there will definitely be toilets. So here in Maximos, a Starbucks that sells a coffee for 8 dollars has no toilets and they send you 100 meters away to an outside one, in small shopping center, where I was waiting and 7 people in front of me. You are unacceptable!

Like every rich area of LA, all they care about is keeping out homeless people. There’s no bathroom and no outlets. I’d rather start taking my business to smaller coffee shops because this is just ridiculous. If I’m paying seven dollars for a dang coffee I should at least have access to a bathroom and be able to charge my phone. Put a code on it if you have to but to have no bathroom is insane.
