Gomez's Mexican Restaurant Reviews
Came to eat tonight with my family. We are locals here in this town in the service industry for 20 years. We are always asked where to go for good food and service. I will not be recommending this place anymore. We ordered two margaritas while we waited for a table and they turned out to be very bad prebatched $16 margaritas. When I approached the bartender to ask if we could turn them in for something nicer willing to pay the price difference she told me no. As somebody...read full review

Gomez's Mexican Restaurant has been a popular spot for over 20 years, offering a family-friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. The food is generally good, with favorites like steak and chicken fajitas, along with fresh guacamole, salsa, and chips. The restaurant provides a varied menu, including items marked as vegan and vegetarian, such as guac and chips, plantain, and maxi-stack, which can be vegan. The atmosphere is praised as great, especially during the busy season, though some feel it can be a little overpriced for what is served, especially when less busy. The tequila selection is considered incredible, and the food has consistently been delicious. Service experiences vary; some customers note great service from specific staff members, while others mention the need to seek out waiters for refills and checks. Overall, Gomez's remains a go-to place for many visitors, especially during events like Bluesapalooza, and continues to be a favorite in the Mammoth Lakes village area.
