Fishing With Dynamite

Sat outside for lunch on a beautiful day. Raw scallops were excellent. Tuna tartare about the same as everywhere else and a little heavy on capers. Clam chowder very good. We had Caesar salad with grilled shrimp also excellent. Our server was great.

Loved the Glacier Point oysters from Homer Bay. Super fresh and prepared with great skill.

Love this place. Very loud inside (I sat outside the last time but that was summer). I now live closer and will return soon.

A girlfriend's birthday lunch that was great fun and all delicious!!! We started with share items, then ordered our 'main course' and think more sharing! Wonderful wine suggested and we loved our corner booth with windows around us- view down to the ocean. Our server was spot on and very efficient. We felt very welcome and was checked don often. Everyone was so so nice. It was a great choice for somewhere special ...and this restaurant is!!!

I can’t speak highly enough about this great little fish restaurant in Manhattan. We always sit at the bar, we always have an amazing time, the fish is always freshest, and the sea urchin from Santa Barbara is to die for!

Where do I even begin?! Everything was exceptional beginning to end. My husband and I were visiting from Houston and wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in a special way. Mission accomplished! The food is superb and the staff is what you hope for in any dining experience. Bryce greeted us with a smile. Shelby provided a detailed breakdown of the menu and checked in with us frequently during our stay. Sebastian is an absolute delight and made our anniversary beyond memorable! Everyone was so kind which warranted hugs from us upon leaving.
Every course was the best ever, and we know food. Lol
The flavor profiles are on point and the seafood could not be any fresher. If you are a foodie looking for the meal of a lifetime, please visit. Very important - please make a reservation to ensure a table. They are consistently busy and rightfully so. We will definitely be back. We miss everyone already. Until next time…

Outstanding Experience at Fishing with Dynamite!

I had an absolutely amazing dinner at Fishing with Dynamite! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious — every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Elijiah.

Elijiah went above and beyond to make our experience special. His knowledge of the menu, warm personality, and genuine attention to detail made us feel completely taken care of. He made great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and added such a positive energy to the whole evening.

It’s rare to find that perfect mix of top-notch food and exceptional service, but Fishing with Dynamite delivered both. I’ll definitely be coming back — and asking for Elijiah again!

Last night we had the most incredible experience at Fishing with Dynamite. We had a late reservation for 6 guests. They provided 5 star service without hesitation. If there was a way to provide more stars we would. Last night meant more to our family than you will ever know. Thank you FWD team!

We used to love this place, but it was somewhat disappointing this evening. The crab cake was soggy, and the Caesar salad was not fresh with some parts of romaine lettuce turning brownish. The dressing tasted pretty bland as well. They usually have insanely fresh romaine condition by the way. Tonight, we could hardly taste the anchovies in the dressing, which was a let down. What made it worse was that our waitress Shelbi was busy serving the two tables next to us, and had the runner staff do most of the work. It was hard to get her attention, it wasn’t that packed tonight either, since we made a later reservation (7:45pm). The only part we enjoyed was our drink and the miso black cod. They nailed it! We are willing to give them another try sometime in the future, but we will make an early dinner reservation. We thought maybe they had run out of fresh ingredients. We skipped our usual key lime pie dessert because we got tired of trying to get the server’s attention. We were done for the night. The receptionists and the runners were friendly and amazing, which sort of made up for the waitress’s negligence.
