I am so happy this place is still open and Lisa in charge!! After watching the Kitchen Nightmares episode I feared for her and the business. Congrats Lisa!

Food: The food was subpar, with the best part being the complimentary bread and olive oil. Cups of water are filled from behind the bar counter and have an off-putting taste. The 'famous' Spicy Vodka Pasta had a broken and incredibly soupy sauce. The tiramisu was old. The lady fingers in the tiramisu were a condensed crumbly sponge mess with an off-putting flavour.

Service: Javier did an excellent job.

Atmosphere: I arrived at 5 pm for happy hour and was met with a relatively desolate restaurant. Things lightened up an hour after once the regulars came in. This is not a place for younger folks. Most of the crowd were middle aged or older.

You're missing out if you are not here. Excellent food! gorgeous place with beautiful vibes <3

Excellent wine selection, calamari was good but a bit salty, Caesar salad good, mussels good, bread yummy...prices are.fair but IMO the place needs a face lift...

Anyone looking for a party venue for birthdays, showers, etc., please consider Lido Di Manhattan. I am planning to have my mom’s 100th birthday party at Lido and they have been so helpful and accommodating with everything - food and wine choices, table arrangements, bar requirements including a mimosa bar, entertainment space, audio/visual needs, table linens, etc. I couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our party. Plus their food and wait staff are excellent! And last but not least their prices are very reasonable.

I've been enjoying the food. wine selection and service here for at least 25 years. Lately when the manager comes in h e BLASTS
the music. When asked if he could lower the volume a bit, was told it was to cover the noise from the kitchen, then another time was told the diners had requested it. I'm pretty sure NO ONE goes there for the piped in music-which BTW, at a normal volume I would have enjoyed.

I am so happy to see you guys made it. Me and my boyfriend were nodding watching your episode with Gorde - we looked and 10+ years later we see you signing your name on these customer reviews still taking feedback like a PRO. While watching the scene where he says how much you've grown and you say you'll be his A+ student I teared up. Knowing you are still rocking in LA made me emotional because so many didn't! a with every word Gorden gave you in how much you improoved me and my boyfriend were nodding. We will be coming to visit from Canada next time we are in California!! ??

It's so nice to see how diligent you still are- taking feedback and growing is why you have made it through the Pandemic etc I so hope you guys are on all the apps to order in too. (skip,uber,doordash)

***For people looking for ratings we've never been here, we are just commenting on amazement from the fact Lisa was so young when she started at 23 and 28 in 2011 when Gordon visited and its now 2024 the fact this place is still open shows perseverance !***

They were having a large private event so the wait staff was preoccupied and the restaurant was a little scattered but I love the food!

Terrible food. Went here because I saw the show on kitchen nightmares. Figured it would be great after seeing the show. Wow what a disaster. Chicken was like rubber. Food was bland. Even the server was embarrassed.
