This place has the best food EVER!! We purposefully look for black owned restaurants during our travels and this little place did not disappoint… The customer service was on point which made the visit that much better… If ever in SoCal again, Mia’s will definitely see us…
Very good, doubles and chicken roti, the only Trini food nearby, thank you
Food is ok but they speak to people rudely we were visiting from out of town decided to pop in and they were annoyed that we didn’t call ahead to order. We did not know to do that. They could of been nicer and friendlier
It wasn't what I expected. But it was great to have a piece of home. Staff was polite.
Great bakes & saltfish... Drinks Refreshing
The best food. I tell everyone to go here and taste the best food in California. The food is amazing, everyone is so friendly, and such a good location. Everything is incredible, highly recommend the potato roti and doubles.
Home away from home. The pholourie, oxtail, roti, everythingggggg is GEWD!! As a trini-jamaican I approve and will continue to support. I love that she is right by the beach. It really feels like home. Thank you Mia!
I visited Mia´s kitchen a couple months ago, and was totally disappointed in the food. Being from Trinidad, I was looking forward to having some tasty trini food, but the food I got is definitely not from Trinidad. The prices are a bit high and is not worth it. I would not recommend eating here if you´re in the mood for authentic Trini style food.
AMAZING!!! Better than my own grandmother's and father's curry roti!! Better than every Trini restaurant I ever ate at in Crown Heights!! Please please patronize this lovely family owned restaurant, we need them!! They're the only Trini restaurant in all of LA!!!!! Make it happen!!!!
When you go there it's easy to see she's putting her heart into this business. I had the oxtail stew with peas and rice. Peas and rice can be dry - hers was not. The oxtail stew was tender and tasty. Absolutely do yourself a favor though and order ahead - all in all it was a good meal.

Chicken Roti is very authentic and is delicious try the doubles too it’s just oh so yummy
Spectacular, unforgettable roti! I’m still thinking about the goat curry and cucumber salad! This is the spot for a gorgeous LA beach picnic
Only place I found that served Trini food. The doubles came in foil and each double (yes I said one i.e. single bara), each wrapped like a taco. It was expensive $9 for one (was told price after ordered). I could have cancelled but was curious about this said Trini store. Anyway the channa was flavourful.
One of my favorite places to eat. excellent location, neat, and good customer service. A must try!
Great Trinidad cuisine. Food is very tasty, although much too salty, but still good. I'll have to ask if they can cut down on the salt. The quality is great as well, and it's a great location just up the street from the beach.
