Unbelievable arrogance here combined with stinky seafood! INSULTING for the experience alone and then worse for the price which is $$$$ for what you can get virtually anywhere else in South Bay. “Love & Salt” up the street is worlds better and an actual authentic and delicious Italian restaurant!
Have dined here a dozen times trying to give them another chance because they had good focaccia but wow, just gets worse every time. Absolutely out of touch with reality and basically surrounding culture, as well as, food execution! They act like a multi-Michelin star restaurant but they’re just rude AF with their weird aggressive servers and their food keeps getting worse and stinkier! Real talk, if you’re going to be directly rude and insulting to paying customers - MAKE SURE YOU NEVER MESS UP THEIR FOOD IF THAT CAN EVEN SAVE YOU. Oh but that doesn’t exist here. Just some cocky weirdos who think they own LA with their subpar restaurant. Unbelievable.

As perfect as you can get. Excellent service, great execution on the recipes (try the Chicken Parmigiana), and a very cool vibe. Our favorite Italian in the South Bay.

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy very delicious and hearty Italian food. It was recommended to me by all my friends who live in LA and I was actually very satisfied with it. I think it's a good idea to ask the staff for recommendations before choosing the menu.

Fantastic experience in the heart of Manhattan Beach. The place is really classy and very welcoming, the food is of the highest quality and has a truly Italian flavour, the managers are very friendly and professional. Definitely the best dining experience ever in Los Angeles. Highly recommended

Nando Trattoria is a charming Italian spot with a classic, authentic vibe. When I walked in, the aroma of aged cheese was noticeable – not my favorite, but to be expected in a true Italian restaurant. Our server was fantastic, recommending a lovely glass of white wine that paired beautifully with our meal. Since truffle was in season, the chef had a special dish: scrambled eggs with asparagus and truffle. I’m usually not a big fan of eggs, but this was easily my favorite dish of the night – rich and flavorful. We also tried the pasta with lobster and the bone-in steak. The steak was exceptional: tender and delicate, with just the right amount of fat to add flavor without being overly chewy. Our server was attentive throughout, making sure we had a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for authentic Italian with great service, Nando Trattoria is a great choice.

To those lucky enough to live nearby, this is a supreme treat. Making authentic Italian takes refine skill, and Nando pulls it off. The prosciutto (incredible) and burrata (ideal consistency) was just phenomenal. The veal was perfectly prepared and overwhelming. The panna cotta could not be beat - perfect vanilla and gelatin content, they were both unobtrusive allowing you to enjoy the silky texture with precision. Bravo, Nando, bravo!

The place is capable of appearing high-end but behind closed doors, those owners have horrendous attitudes towards their employees. Appetizers are not always discarded properly and are reused on other people's plates. Wages are “competitive” but owners have been reported to have underpaid employees that have underperformed during shift. Authentic? Yes, not counting the 20 non-Italian ethnic workers inside the kitchen. Not that being Italian really matters. Although, applications dated from 2016 requested a photo of you and have questions that specifically ask if you are Italian. (you tell me) The chef is hot tempered but a very great man, stupendous chef. Although there are those pre-existing issues of the past / present, service workers ability to perform professionally to the standards of a high end restaurant perform with accuracy. The food is near-perfect and the wine is fine / authentic. The owner Dario. He's a wolf.
