Vanilla apple custard tart with pumpkin spice waffle was the bomb. Highly recommended

Ice cream tasted good, but the staff were very unfriendly and the prices are exorbitant for the size of the scoops.

Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever experienced. For me, the standout (after many tastings) was the Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons ❤️❤️

Bomb ice cream. Only giving it 3 stars because of the girl working there, she was being chill at first. However I paid, and I did not tip (as I have the right to do? I mean the ice cream itself is already a bit pricey than other stores) and when I didn’t tip, the girl who took our order got so visibly upset to the point where when I said thank you to her, she completely ignored me and looked away with this nasty face pretending as if she didn’t hear me. I don’t know her name but she was working night shift on Friday night. Such a nasty attitude. Tipping culture in LA has gotten too extreme.

Tried Arbequina Olive Oil, it was good

good ice cream but charged us for two cups after getting an extra scoop on a cone because he had already handed me the cone. kinda bad on principle.

I have lived in Manhattan Beach for over 20 years and yesterday I had maybe the best customer service experience EVER in my life. I was not able to get the young man’s name but I have this picture here that he let me take. This young man was so warm and hospitable towards everyone who walked in the store. He was very patient with me and all my sampling requests which was probably annoying because I came at a busy time, but his positive attitude never wavered. His smile lit up my day and made my ice cream taste even sweeter than it already was! I loved my experience with that young man so much that I might only get ice cream from salt in straw from now on! He also gives the best scoops, filled with a lot of joy… and ice cream as well, so request him if you can. Hopefully he is working there the next time I go, so that I can get his name and thank him for his incredible service. Salt and Straw, you found a good one.

This is my favorite Salt & Straw location! My absolute favorite flavor is the Salted Grapefruit Coconut Julep, I definitely recommend giving it a try! I usually don't write reviews, but I had to this time. Most of the time when I walk into stores, the employees seem like they don't want to be there. But not here! Yesterday one employee, Braydon, was incredibly nice and patient while I sampled different flavors. His friendliness really stood out and made the experience even better. Shoutout to Braydon!! thank you for the great service!

Fun place to visit either from the beach or passing through town. The service was fantastic. Very efficient as the line was very long but only waited a few mins! The ice cream was one of the best I've had!!
