this might be a restaurant at a mall, but this is my favorite restaurant on the planet. i am one picky eater and this says a lot. during quarenteen, this is the thing i have been craving the most. i LOVE tacone. even if you aren’t a kid, i recommend the kids grilled cheese and the seasoned fries. my order everytime i go (which used to be almost once a week) is always a kids grilled cheese with a side of the seasoned potato chips (they make them!) and an extra side of the seasoned fries. let me tell you, those fries are the best french fries i’ve ever tasted in my life. 10/10 reccomend. their grilled cheese is also to die for, it’s beautiful. sooooo delicious trust me. and the potato chips, wow. i just love this restaurant

I eat here frequently as my work is just across the street from this mall. When I am looking for something cheap, quick, with a lot of food - Tacone is the place. The food quality here is what you're paying for - so don't expect anything crazy. Despite that, the food is relatively good and I've never complained or had anything wrong with my order or food. They also have plenty of options so especially for me, a vegetarian, it is great! I've never ordered at the counter and I always order via Yelp so I'm not 100% sure about the service or how the employees act here. I just know that my order is always on time (sometimes even early) and they're always accommodating to my dietary restrictions and requests.

Was my first time here. Staff and service is cool. No problem with that. The guys working were helpful and explained everything I asked. The 2 stars is on the food. I got the Empire steak plate with yellow rice and salad. The salad was literally chopped up lettuce and carrots. Super dry no oil or any type of dressing was offered to me. The rice tasted like nothing. Literally a blob of carbs with no taste. No salt no pepper like literally tasted like nothing. The meat was good but not the steak I expected. The bigger problem was the portion of meat I was served wasn't even enough to make a small sandwich. It was such a small serving of meat I was actually shocked. Overall the only reason I ate it was because it was $11. Gotta find a new place to eat in this tiny mall. I literally was still hungry after eating the plate that tasted like nothing -_-

Vicariously I write this review due to my Gal Pal being so happy that her Malibu Melt was "all that & I'm here for this sandwich"...I'm still learning lingo as "here for something". Moving along, she was overly happy with the quantity of fresh tasting Chicken amongst a huge wrap full of avocados & veggies. She was only able to eat 1/2 of the wrap as it was huge & shared that it was still fresh & not soggy when she finished it 3 hours later. The guys in the store were low keyed yet friendly & made sure I had everything I needed for the To-Go order. For the homemade chips cravers, their seasoned chips were tasty, a good creation in their recipe...they were everything LOL. 2 part meal for $9.50.

Its average, not bad, usually not disappointed. This Time however,,,, no Tapatio, no hand sanitizer, and my 4-cheese quesadilla didn't have "cotija" cheese ( at least I could not taste it as it has a particular taste that was absent ). Meh...

I went inside you know trying to have a great time trying to get a chick a boom and the doors open right you would except for them to be open but guess what MFERS day they're closed I have a kid he's starving and now he's not going to be satisfied. I feel like my entire universe got played

Closed At 5:46 on Sunday Hours are 11-6 Pretty f'in annoying when one makes a special trip to find they've decided to close their doors. It's not a mom and pop restaurant, it's a chain.
Me and my coworkers come here for lunch during work the food is so so but when I'm hungry this place is it. The reason I give it 4 start is the customer service is great the guys are nice and always on top of it when I call to place my order. Good job guys!

Came here while shopping for a quick gift. Ordered a cheese quesadilla; it costs about $6.00 and it was not worth it. Not quite sure how you can mess up something super easy but it was not tasty. One of the cheeses was way too rich and the salsa was not well made. Wont go back.

This place is a hidden treasure inside the mall. I found it when I was stuck at the Apple store...sometimes I just call to place my order and pick it up. They always have my food ready by the time I get there..the Santa Fe sandwich is so delicious. It comes with potatoes chips which are perfect with the sandwich. Highly recommended.
