Good food. We ordered the chicken Cesar salad, pepperoni pizza and truffle pizza.The first two were very delicious. The brie-truffle pizza was simply alright.But lets talk about that homemade giant cinnamon roll though …. I’d drive all the way there to satisfy that craving any day!The cappuccino was good too. First time in LA I found a decent capp, I usually order cappuccinos and end up with lattés !The location is perfect, overlooking the water. Would absolutely recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful date night! The Cesar salad was amazing. Lightly dressed and the crunchy crouton was a wonderful add. I had the bolognese, which was delicious. And for dessert we had the donuts!!!

This gets 5 for view ambience and service. This time was at the bar. Usually, I get a table where the views can't be beat. Food is always quite pricey and nothing special, but the staff will treat you well and you will enjoy the floor to ceiling views over the pier. Tita served us well at the bar, and she and Jason made great drinks. I also got the crab cakes this time, which I thought were one of the deals on the menu. Again, nothing delectable there--more Cajun style than Chesapeake or CA, fyi.

We had the most wonderful brunch at The Strand House. 2 of us had the Salmon Benedict, which was amazing. My husband had the Italian Sausage Omelette and my friend the Sky High Avocado Toast. Everyone loved their meal and the drinks were wonderful. My only complaint was that we got THE only table in the room behind the post. My husband and I chose those terrible seats to allow our guests to have the view.
Have been to the strand house several times Unfortunately the host placed a sour experience to prior me getting there I was running late ( still within my 15 min) grace period 2 out of 4 guest were their at the bar downstairs having a glass of wine They had checked in prior with host When host called me I told her that 2 guest where there she said yes I know they are here at the bar but I don't know how they look ... I had not told the host they were at the bar but refused to let them know Cutting me short with rude behavior I know situations can be stressful when busy upon my arrival not busy. Not a great first impression to guest with an attitude Discouraged
Perfect day perfect, weather, perfect Brunch, great French press couldn't ask for more. Citrus Ahi tuna salad, Ahi Tuna with citrus was smooth. chicken and waffles was amazing tender. Barbacoa tacos bursting with flavor. Prime Angus burger was hefty and satisfying.
