Best pizza in South bay!!!!!

My friend recommended Valentino’s so I was excited to order from them. We ordered a cheese pizza base, with spinach on the whole pizza, with 1/2 olives and mushrooms, and 1/2 onions. Unfortunately, once delivered, it was very disappointing. There was WAY too much spinach spread across the pizza, and it was crispy, which is disgusting. That ruined the pizza for us. $45 for a large pizza and we didn’t eat more than a couple slices. So bummed.

I love the pizza here. I would always tell people in the area that if they want good pizza they need to go to Valentino's. That being said, I arrived yesterday maybe 10-15mins before they closed and maybe I said something the wrong way but man I remember saying please and thank you too. I got a Sicilian slice and asked for mushroom and pepperoni and when I got it there was so much mushroom on top it soaked into the cheese. What you see on the photo is how much they gave me for one slice of pizza. I didn't want to take it the wrong way but I'll let y'all decide.

Think the employee was drunk, they were too busy selling their eye color than listening : asked for 2 sliced & inquired about the 3rd...there were only 4 types - dude either drunk or playing 'Private Detective' because they'd rather test my 'english venicular' ...I even pointed out the type (it resembled lasagne,but was a square slice)

Lowkey the Best Pizza in Southbay (maybe 2nd to Prime). But everything is delicious. Amazing meatsauce with spaghetti. Great Ranch. Solid Tuna submarine. And Sausage Rolls are next level fire 🔥

After a walk at the track nearby, a pizza craving emerged. Luckily this place was walking distance. The food is delicious, staff was friendly. Will comeback again.

I usually enjoy Valentino’s and have gone there many times — the pizza is usually delicious. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing.
I placed a phone order for a small pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni, along with a salad. When I arrived 30 minutes later, I was told my order wasn’t ready yet. I went ahead and paid ($37.60, plus a tip even though it was pickup), and then continued to wait.
While waiting, I noticed one of the employees making pizzas without gloves. At one point, he scraped toppings off a pizza with his bare hands and put it back together, which I found unsanitary.
When my order was finally called, they gave me a large pizza I hadn’t ordered — then after correcting it, the small pizza I received was folded in half in the box. When I pointed this out, instead of remaking it, the employee just “fixed” it. The final bill also didn’t match what I should have been charged (my order came to $35.83, not $37.60).
They had charged me for a large pizza somebody else’s order not mine. Never refunded it.
Between the hygiene concerns, mistakes on my order, and being overcharged, this experience really soured me on a place I used to enjoy. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

For myself, I'm going on 30 years of considering this hands-down great pizza! And I'm a Chicagoan who loves Chicago Pizza so I don't make this bold claim lightly!
