“Taste of the food was good, unfortunately, some of our dishes came out a bit cool. Service was okay. The server was really nice, but she had no help and often focused on other things than addressing the customers standing by the door for over 10 mins waiting to be accommodated. Get here when it first opens because it'll be hard to get in and seated.“
“1st time here everyone liked said they be back. Parking is terrible. Food was great we had breakfast then at 2 we stayed for DJ that was cool. Place is in a scary area but they have security.Parking: 1 handicap parking and in front of a motel I guess it shares the 10 spots. It was terrible or park on street good luck“
“American Social is a new restaurant in Ripon that I am pretty impressed by. I went to the previous restaurant before American Social took over, but both are great. The service here is great and they ask for lots of feedback too which is appreciated. The ambiance is always comfortable and on a weekend I definitely recommend booking a reservation as it can get busy. The Steak Sandwich ($23) and Creamy Chicken Basil Pesto Pasta ($24) are easily my two favorite items on the menu. The Steak Sandwich I asked for it cooked medium rare and it was perfect and so unbelievably tender. The Chimichurri sauce they used was a 10/10. The bread was amazing too. The sandwich itself was definitely one of the best steak sandwiches I've hand. The only negative I have to say is that I wish the fries were cooked longer and they give a pretty small portion for them when they are the most inexpensive part of the dish. The Creamy Chicken Basil Pesto Pasta was also very good minus the unnecessary micro greens that they have an obsession with putting on top of so many of their dishes. It's a taste that does nothing, but subtract from the dish. Flavor rise that pesto was outstanding. The chicken was very juicy and the pasta had a nice texture as well. Ripon and a lot of the central valley isn't loaded with great restaurant options honestly, but American Social definitely has the potential to be one of the best in the area if they keep up the consistency and improve. The service and ambiance alone is great, but I'm happy with every dish I've tried here so far too.“
“In town for a youth baseball tournament and found this spot on yelp. Delish! I had the California melt and it was super tasty and also just a really nice portion and presentation. It wasn't massive and dripping but it was just a perfect size and tremendously filling. Fries were great. Husband and son had club sandwiches and both really liked their lunch too. Would definitely come back when in town for baseball next. Only drag was Pepsi products which I can't stand. Would have killed for a Diet Coke with my yummy sandwich.“
