“Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and thought they were pretty good. It’s true that this is not my favorite bagel spot in LA but I live very close by to it so it’s conveniently located for me and it really hit the spot this past Sunday morning. They don’t really have indoor seating, and it’s not very large on the inside because it is more of a to go type of spot however it’s not quite as quick as some of the other bagel spots. They seemed to have less staff than some of the others, so that could be the cause. The menu is quite large and they have a lot of great bagel flavor options. It’s located in a shopping mall so there’s plenty of free parking attached and close by. The lady behind the counter was polite and there were a lot of other customers in there as well so it seems like it’s a popular place.

My first visit I chose an Everything Bagel with cream cheese, avocado, and chorizo and enjoyed it. I wish the chorizo would’ve been spicier and had a little bit more flavor, but the other components were really good. The Everything Bagel was a little bit heavy on the sesame, but still I enjoyed it. We also tried one of the Garlic Bagels, and thought it was actually very nice. It was not overly garlicky but well balanced. I would give this place another try in the future and would recommend to anyone in the area.“

“Best bagels in LA. Always hit the spot. I love the plain bagels with cream cheese but they also have so many cool specialty bagels I feel like you can't get anywhere else in LA. It's usually somewhat busy but I preorder most of the time which makes the whole process much easier so I recommend doing that. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Budget lunch options in Sawtelle are hard to come by. At NY Bagel and Deli, you can get a good old fashion new york style bagel for less than $10 (including an add on and the egg surcharge). Their bagels seemed to be made in house. I found their everything bagel to be delicious! It was very filling as well.

I came later around 1pm and they ran out of hashbrowns. Hoping they have hashbrowns the next time I visit!“

“Its tasty. Ingredients are fresh. I got the one with cream cheese and salmon. The amount of salmon was laughable paper thin pieces, but the entire sandwich tasted good. The portion is basically two big half bagels. The dough is not doughy and doesnt stand out like at Noah's. The tomatoes are really tasty and meaty. With a can of soda I ended up paying $23 which is kinda hurtful lol. The place is pretty small but they have a small curbside seating area. The play neutral music and the service was fast. One and done“

“This place is severely understaffed. The employees are hard working, as I sat for my order they were friendly but I saw the urgency was a little overwhelming, people can’t help but feel bad. I am really concerned for their well being as they are often under staffed. There should be Atleast 4 people working at all times. As a business owner myself I’d never just have 2 or 3 employees in what seems to be such a high volume shop. Those are horrible working conditions. Your employees are outstanding, please treat them better.“

Best bagel and lox I have ever had!I have not found a better bagel since moving from NY in 2015.
