Great sushi - fresh and tasty!
We had a wonderful dinner including various sushi rolls, gyoza and udon chicken soup - all were great!
The sushi rolls were in good prortion and size (rice-fish) and also very fresh and yummy, udon chicken soup is pretty big so we were able to divide it into smaller portions, pan fried gyoza was very good.
Service is pretty fast, very friendly staff.

This is my absolute favorite Japanese place in LA! Everything served here is very authentic and well made. Ingredients are all very fresh. Staff here is very nice as well.

A delicious little sushi spot in Marina del Rey. This place is no-frills and really emphasizes very fresh fish presented simply but with a lot of attention to detail and great flavors. They don’t have a lot of the beginner or over the top type of rolls. Everything is just very straightforward. One of my favorite parts is they have indoor and outdoor seating, but if you choose to sit outdoor, which is what we did, you’re able to sit in a covered patio on the second floor and have almost views of the bay, but still really nice views of the area. Service here is very fast and our waiter did not really speak English but was very attentive. It’s in a small shopping center so there is a lot of free parking attached, otherwise it will be street parking.

For this visit, we just did a mix of nigiri, hand rolls, and cut rolls. I would say some of the highlights were the yellowtail nigiri, the baked crab roll, the salmon roll, and one of my personal favorites: the spider hand roll. They have a revolving menu with some things that stay and other limited run specials so it’s the sort of place where you can get something new each visit. I will definitely be back again soon and would recommend.

The terrace with the view is wonderful. The sashimi has great fish. The lobster rolls were not to my liking.

This sushi spot is hands down one of my favorites. The fish is always incredibly fresh you can taste the quality in every bite. I highly recommend the salmon belly and yellowtail sashimi both melt in your mouth and are cut perfectly. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is consistently friendly. Whether you’re a sashimi lover or just looking for a go to sushi place, this is the one. You won’t be disappointed.

The salmon belly sashimi was INCREDIBLE - melted in my mouth. All the dishes were fresh and delicious, service was excellent. Will definitely be back

I have been sick all night due to this place. I had dinner last night and I was puking and diarrhea after it. Definitely this is the place if you want to get food poisoning!

Not a good place.
The staff was rude and not friendly.
didn’t feel welcome at all.
It’s also very expensive, and they charge money for every sauce.
I don’t recommend it.

My friend and I had a great experience at Moto Azabu a few weeks ago. We sat outside on the patio and Casey who sat us had some fabulous recommendations for what we should order. One rec a tuna belly nigiri was absolutely delicious! I've dined here before and this was another fabulous meal. I will definitely be back when visiting Venice again. Thanks Casey and everyone at Moto for a great time!

Every single time i order from this place they give me no chopsticks and no soy sauce. What is that???

Intimate restaurant on the second floor of an outdoor mini-mall. Had sushi and A5. Reasonably priced for excellent sushi. I will definitely go back.
