Really cute place with super fresh food. Herbs were plentiful and lush. So happy we found this place!

Unsatisfied, Disappointed, & Hungry

Hoping to have found our new pho location since we moved to the area and unfortunately, we did not.

Having high hopes to be our to go to pho spot, to once entering and tripping on the step with my daughter in arms and no sign stating watch your step as you open the door (step to enter through the door, then a step right as you open the door).

Service was decent, noise was loud but not too loud yet the servers had a hard time hearing due to the music and same as myself. I have my daughter and not much was offered as in extra utensils for her and I had to get them myself or request an extra utensil for her. I also asked for a bowl for my daughter and once receiving and inspecting, since it’s plastic I had gotten a napkin and rubbed it and grime came off of it. Asked for a ceramic bowl right after.

Also please be noted and aware that there is an automatic 18% gratuity added. Of course did not read the fine print at the bottom of the menu. Since I was hungry and I opened the menu upon receiving it. My take is the server should also verbally state (there’s gratuity added to the bill if by chance you did not see it on the menu).

Honestly, the pho tasted as if it was watered down and had no flavor and the portion to the protein and noodles felt little, to the point me, my wife and daughter were still hungry even after eating a dessert which was delicious, that we ended up getting tacos and burritos right after. To fill our tummies.

I came across this restaurant through a food recommendation page shared by colleagues, where it was described as having excellent food. Based on those recommendations, I decided to give it a try.

Initially, I considered ordering takeout through Uber Eats, where I noticed a Pho Sirloin stir fry listed. The photos presented a dish that appeared generous in portion, particularly with respect to the amount of meat. It was visibly abundant, even lining the rim of the bowl.

However, my in-person experience was markedly different. The dish I was served bore little resemblance to what was advertised. As shown in the attached photo, the total amount of meat in my $15 bowl of pho was equivalent to a single soup spoon. When I asked the waitress whether this was the standard portion, she confirmed that it was, explaining that this is how the dish is served when ordered stir-fried.
As a result, I felt compelled to order an additional side of raw beef. Even then, the meal remained unsatisfactory. I did not finish the broth, and the overall balance of the dish was off, with an estimated ratio of 80% broth to 10% noodles.

I am visiting from the East Coast and eat pho regularly, often exploring a variety of options. I have never encountered such a disappointing experience.
Additionally, there is an automatic 18% gratuity applied.. even for a party of one. Justified as a way to ensure employees earn a living wage. While I support fair compensation, it is difficult to reconcile that principle with an experience that felt significantly misrepresented and underdelivered.

The pho definitely is for a more western palette and they include tip in their bill.

We love this place.

One of the things that stand out this time (apart from the food of course) we went was a very cool playlist that was playing on the restaurant. My gf was kind of dancing to the music.

I ordered the pho with rare meat, I took a picture of it so that you can check it out for yourself. You pretty much throw the meat inside the hot pho and it will cook right there. Very good plate if you ask me.

My gf ordered the Pad Thai, which she is really a fan of it. She is always looking for Pad Thais all around LA, but she said this one in particular was very tasty. She recommends it to ALL.

Very clean place, parking could be a little tricky because is on Washington Blvd so it could get a little difficult to find a place to park, but not impossible.

I recommend this place to everyone!

Service was amazing too.

Mediocre pho, but gets the job done if you’re craving pho and want something in the area. I got the combination pho. The overall meat quality and quantity was low, but the tongue was very good. Pretty good broth but nothing crazy
