Only 1 person working in front ok I guess… nice vibe inside, but about $8 for one mediocre bland grilled shrimp taco with chips?!!? No thanks won’t be back, half the tortilla left stuck to takeout paper wrapper…chips were ok
Love this Sharky’s location! Super friendly staff..shoutout to Oscar, Santos, Iris, and Carlos for always having a smile and providing great service! And for Tony/Manager always being willing to partner with Corepower next door!
Good spot. Enjoy a nice beer and a taco
Friendly neighborhood spot with helpful staff. Recommend the power plates. Fish tacos are also pretty decent.
Even 5 gram chicken didn’y have small borito but be honest it was good especial salsa pricey to for small and less meat $15 I’ll go Panda Express
Crispy cheese tacos were great! Tried both steak and chicken. Also the salsa bar has a good variety of mild to spicy salsas.
Excited to have found a place with tofu on the menu. Ordered a taco and burrito with tofu. Halfway through the taco, I asked my friend to taste it to see if the protein tasted like chicken. It did. The taco contained both tofu and chicken. Server apologized and said the burrito "should be all tofu". At that point, I sent the burrito back, not wanting to chance it. I asked to be refunded and was oblidged. Vegetarian for 18 years. Sorely disappointed. A heads up to all veggies, be aware.

Restaurant was clean and the food tasted really fresh. Docking 1 star because they gave me chicken instead of the steak ordered. I ate it anyway and it was delicious. Would definitely choose again.

I love Sharky's. The tacos are delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. So much better than Chipotle!
We get the original chicken tacos (corn tortilla) and they're simply satisfying. Pro tip: under sides/extras, you can order extra chips for $1.

I'm not sure how much detail I want to get into, but long story short we excitedly visited the Marina Del Rey location after seeing their advertised "Happy Hour" menu on their website. The staff seemed slightly confused about the happy hour. It probably took a painstaking 5-10 minutes to place what should have been a 45 second order. Luckily I was able to place my order with credit card because afterwards the credit machine broke and the guy behind me was asked to pay with cash.
The prices I was charged differed quite a bit from the Happy Hour prices listed on the website, not sure if the prices have changed or I was mis-charged but either way this mistake should be fixed. When I pointed out the disparity to the staff member, they seemed confused also. Also as I review the receipt I am just noticing the $3 service charge which wasn't explained to me, and will be illegal after July 1st with new state law. Wish that had been disclosed.
The food was pretty good, in particular the tempura fried shrimp tacos, but the confusion and difficulty in ordering is exhausting and ruined the overall experience. I'm not local (Central Coast) so I'm unlikely to return any time soon but if I was local this experience would probably leave me wanting to avoid the restaurant.
My personal advice (for what its worth) would be:
1) Update any pricing on the website to match what is in store
2) Allow for better online ordering (Happy Hour items also!)
3) Install an ordering Kiosk to take out the confusing staff ordering process
4) Offer more transparent pricing on all things (including service charges)
5) Keep serving good food!

Stopped in for my first Sharky’s visit ever this past weekend and enjoyed it more than I anticipated. As someone that was raised in San Diego and moved to LA in 2019 I have been looking for a good fish burrito and taco since my move, and surprisingly have not been able to find any in LA. I will say that Sharky’s has one of the better fish tacos that I have tried since moving and definitely want to go back specifically for that. They have locations all over California, even in San Diego, however, I never thought to try them down there. This location is new, large, and designed well on the inside with many different seating options. There is also a giant free parking lot attached so parking is really plentiful and easy. The prices are pretty fair and all the items came out quickly. Our server was also very polite even though this is an order at the counter type of place vs full waiter service. They have a great salsa bar with some delicious salsa; the avocado salsa was my personal favorite. For my meal I chose the Fiesta Burrito with Carne Asada and a Fish Taco. The burrito was not nearly as good as the taco. The Asada was almost shredded, and didn’t have any seasoning really. The burrito was overall kind of mushy and the flavors just weren’t that great. The taco was great, however not quite a Baja fish taco but still a really good one.Overall a really good and quick casual Mexican spot. I would not classify it as authentic Mexican food, but it’s still really good and worth trying. I plan to be back in the future to try more items.
Parking: Giant free parking lot attached
Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs or incline to enter/exit

Ricardo is the absolute man! I accidentally order my burritos as take out and when I called in to discover the predicament I got ya in he offered to come drop it off. The customer service was appreciated more than y’all know. My boyfriend had work in 45 minutes and we have one car with a baby. Btw the burritos were delicious. Our new spot. Thank you again Ricardo that was so very sweet!

Don't come here if you expect meat in your tacos. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito. It had everything, except chicken! I was lucky if there were two strips of chicken in there.

Absolutely horrible.. I think I just paid $20 for a burrito made with rotten meat.. It tasted rotten, and thats why the hostess made sure I went to the salsa bar so I could load up on salsa to disguise the taste... BEWARE!!..Tony, there is really nothing to discuss.. I don't want a refund.. I took my chances on a restaurant in my neighborhood I had never been to before.. Should have known better as soon as I saw that you were almost empty at 8pm on a Saturday night.. And don't try to tell me I don't know what rotten meat tastes like.. Perhaps it wasn't completely green when it landed on the grill, but it was green enough for me.. I wish you the best, and I do hope that you are able to improve the quality of the food.. maybe I just got a bad cut of some questionable meat.. It would make sense to take food a little past the due date to save some money or to make a little extra.. Regardless I won't be coming back.. Just don't want anyone else to have my experience.. And I definitely wouldn't want someone getting sick..
