The tasting menu is a great value. If I could afford the shaved truffles, I would have gotten that option. The wine choice they offered was excellent it went very well with the pastas and yellowtail. Sorry, I can't remember the name... but it was delicious. They were very accommodating to our group of 8. They have a spectacular view of the marina, and if you're dining at sunset its gorgeous.

Don’t waste your time here. It’s a 30min to 1hr wait for a whole lot of starch and sodium and nothing else.

1) noodle texture is good but sauces are wayyy too salty. This averages out to a mediocre pasta where everyone can make it as long as they have fresh pasta.
2) there is nothing in the pastas except pasta and flavoring. Hardly any protein, no veggie, no garnish.
3) poorest service. With the open kitchen style, the chef would come to our seat and split our tasting menu noodles into two plates and serve it to us. For one of the dishes, we found it wayyyyy too salty (head chef tasted it and nodded in agreement) and offered to make us a new one, but our chef decided to not serve it to us. It was left on the table unattended until it was cold and not split into two plates. Even our waitress was confused.

Overall a very poor dining experience and not satisfied with the food. You can find better fresh pastas in LA.

Yesterday for my friends birthday we went to Uovo for dinner. We ordered a bunch of their tasting menus and some a la carte dishes. The server was very throughout with explaining the tasting menus and how the a la carte pastas come in the second course unless we decide to have on the first. The food was amazing and the server made sure my friend had a candle with his tiramisu. There was some miscommunication with some of my friends so I’m writting this review to say that my server handled it very professionally and apologized even though it wasn’t her fault. The manager also came and offered us free ravioli. Overall my friend still had a great birthday and the food was spectacular and so was the service

The food is pretty good like the cacio e pepe and pomodoro, but the way they do individual plates when not done with the tasting menu is actually horrendous. You watch the table eat their appetizers and first entree and sit there hungry. We hoped they brought the main course once they got their 1st entree but no. Not a good way to serve dishes and they're adamant on serving you once the second entree comes for the table. Horrible service.

The food is delicious! When you arrive you think, what no bread? But no you don’t need anything but the pasta and maybe some wine!

Nice place! Seemingly authentic to its culture. No substitutions can be made to any menu items. Little to no plant based options. All of the pasta is made and sent over night direct from Italy.

I go as much as I possibly can. They fly the food in from Bologna daily. If you wanna taste real Italian food, this is the spot just no bread. :( 🥖 which is a sin in BLQ 🇮🇹 great wine choices

Great location with amazing views of the Marina. The food was amazing and there is an open kitchen so you can see the chefs at work.

This small spot in the Marina is absolutely worth a visit. My stomach was on eastern time so I arrived around 4:30 and had my choice of tables. By 5:30 there was a line as they don’t take reservations. Tried the arugula & minima salad which was quite large and pretty much perfect. For pasta I tried the Carbonara (dine-in only) which was sublime. Wondered if I’d even taste the effort they put into crafting their pasta in Italy and shipping it overnight but yes, I did. It’s exceptional. The carbonara is classic and expertly done. Quite rich so be prepared. Tried the pane cotta and was mixed on that. The chocolate top layer was too sweet and dominated the taste. The setting is beautiful and if you want to snag a table outside on a nice evening, go early. They’re open all afternoon and evening.

Dietary restrictions: I’m not gluten free but family members are so I always look for that. They had multiple handmade GF pasta options although I believe it’s cooked in the same water as the regular pasta.
