Pho is $15 with tax and fees, but it only includes five tiny slices of thin brisket. The noodles are soggy, and the broth is very plain yet makes you thirsty after eating.

The sandwich is not the worst, but the bread is hard and chewy. For $9.50 before tax, I would expect much better quality.

The food was very mediocre, price/quality is definitely not worth it, the service is very bad and the people inside where chatting the whole and it was almost impossible to talk to them, the food took for ever to be ready and everything was handed to us fridge cold. Definitely not going back.

Got the shrimp and veggie rice rolls, which were bland and tasteless. The peanut sauce which came with it was the saving grace, without which, it would have been hard swallowing the rolls. The service was poor and the person who handed over my food to me was rude and unconcerned. When I asked her where I could through the trash after I was done, instead of directing me towards the nearest trash bin, she sarcastically told me “they’re like all over the place”, with a lot of attitude. The overall ambiance of the place is pretty.

This was missing so many spices that it tasted like phò I could make at home. Nothing good and certainly nothing authentic about this place as it lacked flavor.

I ordered the pork lemon grass and fried egg today. The pork was extremely dry, And to my knowledge you can’t possibly over cook pork like that any person would know it’s wayyyyy over cooked. I personally think they used old meat that was precooked and just heat it up. It’s extremely dry I’m telling you. The worse Vietnamese pork I’ve ever had. Martinez needs better viet restaurants and this ain’t it.

I just had a bad experience. I wanted to order a sandwich because I’m hungry but when i tried to order, the woman made me use the ipad kiosk. Then I ordered lemongrass pork sandwich which was extremely hot (spicy) yet there’s was no way for me to know this. When I went back she declined to make me a new sandwich. I will NEVER eat here again. Be careful with anything that you order!

9/23/23 I had been waiting for this place to open for the longest time since I saw the sign up. Well today was my chance. I went there and had to wait about five minutes for my order, but that was ok. I had placed my order online with Grubhub and was hoping it would be ready when I arrived. I had to ring the bell to ask them about my order. It wasn't ready because they didn't acknowledge the order was ready for pick up on the app. So they made my order. It was fine waiting.I got home and I didn't eat the sandwich right away which didn't really make a difference for me. The sandwich was sad for me. I had ordered the five spice chicken sandwich and it was kind of salty to me. Also, there was only carrots and cilantro in the sandwich besides the meat. The carrots and cilantro was chopped up and I wasn't used to that. I was bummed out and let down. The bread was good, but that was the only thing going for it. Overall, I've had a better banh mi at other locations. I had high hopes and now they're dashed. Kibi's Cafe does a very good job with their banh mi. It's smaller in size, but the way I'm used to a banh mi having eaten them in San Francisco growing up at Little Paris in Chinatown.

No customer interaction. You place your order at a kiosk. Then, get a text when it is sitting on a counter for you to pick up. The vegetable soup was just raw vegetables in hot water, no flavor at all. This place won't be in business long. Too bad, because it is in a fantastic location. Market & Main is a beautiful little market, with a variety of vendors.

The collective dining room is THE highlight of this restaurant. The baguettes are also another high point. The pork, spread and lack of veggies made a disappointing meal. An upgraded fried egg was also noticably missing from two of the three sandwiches the $1.50 add-on was made. Thai tea and Taro shakes were below standards as were was the Avocado shake. A novel ordering system made from a kiosk incorrectly allowed the taro shake only to be ordered as take out, so the entire order was converted to take out with assurance from staff it would be converted to dine in. Alas all of the mediocre food was delivered in a plastic bag with drinks on their sides. Five minutes after beginning to eat our meal in the delightful upstairs dining room, a text was sent informing us that our order was ready for pickup. Although my individual experience may not reflect the next orders you may make. While in Martinez you should try Banh Mi &Rolls for their delicious bakery skills and fun, relaxed group dining area.

I had the lemongrass pork bành mì and it was delicious. Loaded with vegetables while not skimping on the meat. The baguette was crispy without being hard, and it was a large sandwich for only $9. They have vegetarian options as well. You order on a kiosk and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. There's an oyster bar and a bakery/café with gelato, cookie dough, and other baked goods in the same building. I'll be back!

A perfect banh mi. A solid French baguette with just the right amount of crunch. Fresh veggies and flavorful meat. The spice level was also great too (you may want to pick off a few jalapeños if your sensitive). Just all around a great stop in Martinez.
