It is one of the best banh mi places in the area.
may 4, 2025. quick order on the kiosk, quick pick up. i like that style. got the lemongrass grilled pork banh mi. dangerously good. and to wash it down with brown sugar milk tea, good. nice lil joint.
This is great spot for a quick lunch. Flavorful, filling, and affordable - exactly what I want my Banh Mi to be
The food was great, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was top-notch! For my first time visiting Oakland.
Nice little cafe in downtown Martinez.
This food is disgusting, the food had no flavor, or over seasoned at least they could have done was give me half my money back once I responded to their survey they automatically send you with your receipt .. Asking what can we improve on?
My response: May i get half my money back they never responded... Waste of $50
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
My sister and I stumbled upon this gem when we were shopping at a few antique stores around the corner. This place was the star of the day. We ordered the shredded chicken Bahn Mi (we split one sandwich) and it did not disappoint! Fresh bread with the perfect amount of softness and crispiness, delightfully seasoned shredded chicken with cucumbers, carrots, cilantro and a touch of heat with some thin, green peppers. I couldn't stop talking about it the rest of the day. Thankful we found this place. Service was terrific!
Not sure why this place hasn’t gotten higher reviews. For your banh mi hit around this area, this is the one! Good amount of veg to meat ratio and the bread is so fresh and soft. Be nice and help this place grow and stay!
Pho is $15 with tax and fees, but it only includes five tiny slices of thin brisket. The noodles are soggy, and the broth is very plain yet makes you thirsty after eating.
The sandwich is not the worst, but the bread is hard and chewy. For $9.50 before tax, I would expect much better quality.

The food was very mediocre, price/quality is definitely not worth it, the service is very bad and the people inside where chatting the whole and it was almost impossible to talk to them, the food took for ever to be ready and everything was handed to us fridge cold. Definitely not going back.

Got the shrimp and veggie rice rolls, which were bland and tasteless. The peanut sauce which came with it was the saving grace, without which, it would have been hard swallowing the rolls. The service was poor and the person who handed over my food to me was rude and unconcerned. When I asked her where I could through the trash after I was done, instead of directing me towards the nearest trash bin, she sarcastically told me “they’re like all over the place”, with a lot of attitude. The overall ambiance of the place is pretty.

This was missing so many spices that it tasted like phò I could make at home. Nothing good and certainly nothing authentic about this place as it lacked flavor.

I ordered the pork lemon grass and fried egg today. The pork was extremely dry, And to my knowledge you can’t possibly over cook pork like that any person would know it’s wayyyyy over cooked. I personally think they used old meat that was precooked and just heat it up. It’s extremely dry I’m telling you. The worse Vietnamese pork I’ve ever had. Martinez needs better viet restaurants and this ain’t it.
