They offer a variety of fresh oysters each week and a delicious clam chowder. During happy hour, the "the mother shucker" deal is a great value, including beverages and discounted oysters. The outdoor seating area adds to the charm of the place, where customers can enjoy dishes like the Lobster Roll on a brioche bun or the clam chowder bread bowls. While the oysters were tasty, some had shell fragments. The drinks, like Manhattans, were excellent but the prices are a bit high. Customers can also try the crab melt, which has decent crab and nicely toasted bread. The small seating area is understandable considering the location, and it could be a fun spot with the right people. The restaurant's chef, Eddie, is praised for making the best clam chowder west of the Mississippi, with the original New England recipe and delicious bacon bits.
