Ventured into Market on Main for the first time today and chanced upon one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted at Mamounia's. On this occasion I tried the Merquez (lamb sausage) pizza, and it was a revelation - spicy and rich. The tomato sauce and cornmeal crust were excellent as well. The pizza was so flavorful that, although I'm a big pizza eater, I could only finish half of it at the time. What a boon for Martinez!
We finally came to Main and Market and decided to try a little something from each vendor. Well, let me start with the customer service. The lady working the stand ( I believe the owner) is super sweet and lovable. You could really see this because literally everyone was stopping to say hi to her. The vegan pizza was one of the best pizzas I've had. Really liked the cornmeal crust too. Wish they would use washable plate or pan to serve pizza. We received paper plates, plastic ware and cardboard box with pizza. So much waste. But then finding people to wash dirty dishes is another challenge.
